avated sexual battery. developing this morning, following scandal after scandal. pope francis is officially taking action with a new vatican city law aimed at stopping sexual abuse. this is the first time that the vatican had implemented such a law. it requires vatican church officials to report possible sex crimes right away. take a look at this. the new l consists of three documents, together they're meant to protect minors and vulnerable adults from abuse. f sexual abuse claims are n immediately reported to police, thereould be prosecution and sanctions involved. the new law follows a february conference at the vatican and it's supposed to be a model for the catholic church worldwide. we're standing by for possible confirmation about who will be washington's next archbishop. the vatican has selected wilten gregory whom you see there. ice v has not confirmed

african-americanrchbishop here washington. the beltway is open again this morning after a nightmare scenario yesterday. >> that's right. a crash shut down all lanes on the interloop bringing traffic to a screeching halt for hours. this whole thing began about 2:00 p.m. yesterday when a fuel tanker overturned after some type of crash with several cars at the american legion memorial bridge. >>eporter: what a huge mess and what a huge cleanup as well. th tanker fuel of 8,500 gallons of fuel some of them beginning to leak as soon as that crash happened here othe beltway inner loop so they had that crash to work with, thatke huge tan leaking, that truck to reright that was just a lot of work to do which took a lot of time here well. very clear it would not be a quick or easy job. opper 4 was over the scene yesterday capturing that wreck

well as the response on the ground. you can see those cars on the inner loopo brought a standstill on the other side, the outer loop cars slowing down to take a look at that crash right by the american legion bridge. on the ground, firefighters had to use a lot of focus here as drivers waited because they did find trouble spots on that tanker as well. >> we estimate abo 150 gallons of gasoline has spilled. our crews were t able --re were a couple of different leaks in the tanker. our crews quick hi plugg those leaks and then also contained the fuel that was running off and got to it before any got into the potomac river. >> as you can see a big messer beltway opened around 2:30 this morning. three cars were involved in that crash with the tanker and luckily no one was seriously hurt. >> amazingly. take a look at this overnit crash in the strict. you can see a metro bus and two vehicles were involved. a this happene southern avenue and bowen road in southeast and it tk a while to clear the

harassing her. the 2-year-oldold -- the 22-year-old that wilder took her out to dinner to celebrate her 20th birthday in february of 2017. she says after dinner, wilder invited her back to his condo in richmond, gave her alcohol and kissed her without her consent. she says he also offered to pay for law school and suggested she could live at his home. black reported the incident in december. she was a student at vcu at the time and sheorked as an office assistant at the public affairs named after doug wilder. wilder has n commented about the allegation. vcu tells usch thel doesn't comment about investigations for privacy reasons. president trump is now spending his weekend in florida at mar-a-lago after v atory rally in the midwest, it was his first since the completion o the mueller report and tracie potts has more plus calls for one of the president's toughest critics to now resign.
