custody using handcuffs. scott macfarne is in our newsroom with the video. scott. >> d.c. police sayrr theyted the boy for armed robbery. he was one of five suspects accused in the theft near union station. you're about to see video of police arresting the boy near 5th and 8th streets in northeast saturday. we have not been able to confirm the boy's age at this point. police say he and four other accomplices attacked a victim on massachusettsvee. investigators say one suspect placed the victim in a headlock whileheoy allegedly slashed a bb gun and demanded the victim's cellehone. roup was caught nearby. police say this boy was one of the primary aggressors. the video was first posted on social media over the weekend and raised questions about why police were taking a young boy into custody. we now have our answer from d.c. police. backyo to >> unbelievable. thank you, scott. happening now, a water safety warning for some people in prince george's county. a boiledle water still in effect right now for southern parts of the county.

beuse i had to out and buy dinner. i couldn't cook. >> reporter: the break initially shut down traffic on the busy highway that runs right by national harbor. eventually one northbound lane was reopened. there are still heavy traffic delays as crews from wssc make the repairs. >> i sat there for, like5 minutes yesterday on sunday. sitting right here on 210 forever trying to get through the traffic. >> reporter: when you got hot, you didave any water? >> no water and i was out of gas in my car. my car was out of gas. just double trouble. >> reporter: wsse workers had to dig up the road and replace the pipe and a section of road will have to be repaved. they're trying to get the work done so it doesn't stretch into another day. >> pressure went down yesterday to just trickle, but at least we had a little bit and then ie about an hour and a half, two hours later it came back full. and then we heard the respect where we had to boil the water. >> reporter: the boil water alert affects 23,000 customers.

levels. >> reporter: but this weekend fairfax announced he volunbmrily ted to a polygraph test using an expert his accuser's attorney used to test cistine blaz swr christine blasey ford. fairfax says he passed the tes and would questions, quote, did you engage in any itnonconsensual sexual ay. he answered no. the polygraph examination showed this was a truthful answer. while res aren't admissible in court, experts say they're used by law enforcement to detect deception. fairfax says taking this type o examination was another step in trying to prove his innocence. he released a statement which says in part, quote, iave also called for a fair, full, and impartial investigation of th allegations and my denials. i am completely confident that such an investigation would xonerate me and clear my good name in northern virginia, megan f z

ie wind coming in here could impact how thiss going to look later this week. pat. developing now, president trump continuing to ratchet up his threat to close the u.s./mexico border this week. all weekend the president's aides were out saying this is not a bluff. this morning he sent out a tweet calling -- the president also i announced he cutting aid to central america to stop migrantt caravans heade the u.s. opponents say that move could backfire creating more crime in those countries and forcing more people to flee. an potential shutd the u.s./mexico border isn't just a political nuisance. it could have a major impact on how you eat and thatea may no more avocados. more than 40% of the produce that we import thisea time of comes from mexico. that includes virtually all of e avocados in local grocery stores. f the border were to close, stores would run out of avocados in three weeks.
