yeah, there's a real concernre among neighbors in the community. a perception that of the city is dangerous. as you mentioned, the mayor and the police chief met with neighbors to try and calm those fears. just hours later there was another homicide in the city. this one on wagner and skylab place southeast. a 28-year-olds, monterey brown, hes found with multiple gunshot wounds. ater died on the scene. on saturday, as we mentioned, th chief along with d.c. mayor bowser met with neighbors. the mayor is suggesting that the city increase the num r of police officers that they have to 4,000. she's also offering an incentive for these officers to live in e community that they serve. just a couple. ideas that have been tleen oute tho try and curb this violence -- been thrown out there to try to curb this violence. we're looking at the 45th homicide in the d.c. area. back to you.

>> reporting from d.c. policte headqu. thank you. there are new calls for reform following aic local p investigation into a deadly officer-invoreed shooting aled the officer was was lawful and justified in hisse of deadly force. community members held pictures of robert white during a rally over the weekend. white was killed by a montgomery county police ficer last summer in silver spring p. police say white attacked the officer, but some say white was victim of racial profiling. white did not pull a weapon on the officer. ndpolice say they f a folding knife in his pocket before the findings of the investigation were released. the officer had been cleared of wrongdoing by the state's attorney's office in neighborino howardty. a possible outbreak of the norovirus has some hospital ncerned. the sce center alerted health offials that three patient tested positive for the virus this week. the d.c. department of health
