news 4mi ay. >> this morning maryland mourns the death of the house speaker michael busch. he died sunday after a bate with pneumonia. >> busch was the longest-serving speaker in state history. we have reactiout busch's passing. >> reporter: the speaker is being remembered for all brought to the post. he was a former teacher, an athlete, as well as a coach and family man. that made for a unique mix of law making and leadership that will be missed.un he was a s figure here in annapolis. he was, of course, a very wn well-k democrat. a skilled politician as well as the longest serving speaker here in state history. but he was still able to bridge the gap witis republican colleagues across the aisle. so no surprise that over the weekrad thers and thoughts were coming in for them even as word sead that his condition was worsening at the university of maryland medical center where

we are back with an update just into our news room. prince george's county police t releas names of two men killed this weekend. they are 24-year-old trevor friesher and raymond jiels. the men were killed early yesterday morning on fable street. police are searching for the gunman. today jury selection begins in a murder case involving secret tunnels under a home. >> daniel beckwit is accused of murder. in september of 2017 he let a 21-year-old die when a fire oke out in the tunnels.
