planned to drive it interest a crowd ofna people at nat harbor. according to court documents, for more than two years he harbored hatred for those that didn't practicem the mus faith. then on march 26th he walked away from his job h at thehes network system in germantown. he tossed his cell phone alongside the highway. he parked his sedan car because he didn't think his sedan car was big enough, strong enough to exact the type of damage andd blhed he wanted. so he stole a u-haul truck. he stole that van in alexandria. drove it to national harbor and he waited for a bigger crowd to develop. he spent the night in a boat here waiting for more people to gather. bu ftunately the fbi moved in and stopped him befe he could execute this frightening plan. i'm going to be backt 5:00. i talked to his neighbor. i have more scary details from

prince george's county bureau chief tracee wilkins just finished talking to the police. she has the latest. >> reporter: police were back on the scene at this house after last night around 10:30 there nts a report of gunfire. prince george's c police say once on the scene, they found 18-year-old sania floyd dead inside of one of the bedrooms. >> our investigators are still working to determine exactly how things happened. we're asking anyone with any information to give us a call. >> floyd didot live in the home but was dating a young man who lives theor ang to people familiar with the investigation. now police are trying to figure out exactly what led to that gun going off and her dying as a result of it. so do you all believe this was a homicide? >> no, we're not treating it as a homicide. we're treating it as a death investigation. >> reporter: this all happened atan's boyfriend's home. we spoke to his mother. she tel us sania was a happy go lucky young woman. she is incrediblyad that she has lost her life.

in palma park, i'm tracee wilkins, news 4. an update now on a double murder over the weekend in capital heights. prince george's county police now releasing the names of the two victims. 24-year-old trevor frazier and werear-old raymond giles both found shot on fable street just after midnight sunday. frazier died at the scene. fable was takenthe hospital where he died a short time later. they haves not released any information about a suspect ove possible mo a somber tone in annapolis as the end of the maryland legislative session turns day of mourning. house speaker michael bush died over the weekendth a age of 72. he was the longest serving speaker in state htory. darcy spencer tells us how lawmakers are remembering their ime leader. >> reporter: the maryland flag flies at half staff over the statehouse at annapolis. inside lawmakers try to go about the last day of the general

rescuedamerican tourist after being kidnapped on safari has now arrived in uganda's capital. these new photos show kimberly endicott tree a endicott free and unharmed after being held by a gang. her dream tour turned into a nightmare when she was abducted at a safari park. her captors demanded a half million dollar ransom. that ransom money was paid by the company that led the excursion. the kidnapers are still at large. pat. selling mulch is time honored tradition for a lot of boy scouts. this year the scouts of troop 1970 inir restonnia learned one of their long time customers husbands had died. aimee cho tells us how the tmmunity rallied and came together to hels widow in her time of need. >> reporter: we could sit here and tell y how much brad whacker loved his wife winslow.

lightning. notice how we don't have much lightning at all into the culpeper, you're about to see some rain showers move through. this one is going to continue to move towards manassas and over towards the i-95 cordor. th wider view showing this all moving through. all moving from west to et across our region. take the umbrella with if you'll be out tonight you probably will need it from time to time. the wer view showing the strong storms. all these yellow areas, these are sever thunderstorm warnings. pink is the severe storm watch. we haven't see those since last severe weather season. first severe thunderstorm watch in our area well to our south. that's where we think most of these strong severe storms will go. we've got a lot of rain to get through over the couple of hours. it will move by 8:00, 9:00, should begin to wine down. how about this,83 though? winds out of the west at 16 miles per hour.

definitely trees. the pollen report today has trees coming in high. mold, weed and grasses all coming in low.ew a study out from climate central is showing that our growing season is getting longer. climate central analyzed hundreds of cities across the united states and they said on average over the last 50 years across the u.s. the growing season has increased by two weeks. a longer growing season mea a longer allergy season. now, i also reached out to our lol microbiologist who provides me with that pollen report daily. at she noted was more than anything the trees are showing the most change in our not so much grass. not so much mold or weed. and what she nothe with trees is that the total tree pollen production ireing higher overall. we're getting more tree actually produced. hey, guys, and out of the last four years -- i love when that happens. >> surprise. >> pat was listening.
