15 before the hour. today on capitol hill a simple budget hearing may turn into full-blown politicaltheater. attorney general william barr scheduled to testify before the house appropriations committee about the justice department's budget. this may wind up being a grilling, though, about the mueller redert. crats appear ready to pounce. they want the full report made public, but tra attorney ge says he won't do so until redaction have been made. >> he sayshat should be by the middle of this month. news4's tracie potts joins us live from capitol hill. oc we have any idea what specifically the dts may ask the attorney general about the report? >> reporter: a number of thingsl first of athey want to know why they haven't seen it. what is he redacting. there are lots of unanswer

several weeks later, the case took a bizarre turn it was revealed that investigators found a hole in the basement floor that led to a shack that dropped 20 feet down into tunnels that extended some 200 feet i length. police say they were part of an underground bunker beckwith was building. beckwith's attorney says his client is eager to get the trial starte he'll likely to to persuroe that the death was an accident. prosecutors will likely point to conditions inside beckwith's house and basement as evidee that he ignored the fire risk inside the tunnels. if all goes according to plan, we could see opening statements as early as wednesday. in montgomery county, cory smith, news4. 4:49 now. this morning, t number o measles cases in the u.s. is near record levels. the aycdc 465 cases have been reported in 19 states. that is the second highest total since measles was declared eliminated left two deaths ago.

two today. rain chances are not going to be terribly pactful. yesterday, what a warm day it turned into. 84 degrees yesterday for the high temperature. so earliest we've been that warm since we made 84 back on april 4th i 2011. it had been eight years since we've been so warm so early. last year we had an 80-degree day in the middle of public. that was our warmest 80 on record at --sh in gton. right now, though, we're back into the 50s to around 60 to get your tuesday started. plenty of clouds outside. the school day forecast, kids may want to have the pocket-size umbrella to play it safe. there's a lingering drop or two with temperatures near 60. there will be more than enough sunshine and a gusty wind to bring temperatures close to 80 degrees. there's a,augusta, georgi right there. another day with a cha thunderstorms for the practice rounds of the masters. closer to home, some raindrops across the lower bay. we've seen a few straggler drops
