man breaking into his riverdale park home will n face charges. >> that suspect wound up dying, and his famil says he is the real victim. this all happened wednesday night. poliom say surveillance video captured the entire incident. foage shows victory meng armed and kicking in the door at the . 59th avenue ho the homeowner owned fire and hit victory who is then able to run off. friends dropped him off at the hospital about 2minutes later ere he died. meng's aunt said friends told the family he'd been shooting during a drive-by shooting. >> i've never known somebody that could break into somebody's use during the day with cameras all around, and to still walk -- i don't know. this is a kid that has almos everything he wants. >> investigators believe the home was targeted. this morning, d.c. detectives are looking into the

shooting of two men.ou one was fnd on the ground near the anacostia library in southeast yesteay afternoon. a short time later, a second young man showed up at a nearby hospital. detectives hope surveillance footage will help catch shooter. a d.c. barber who was charged with sexually assaulting three women is now facing a fourth charge for the same crime. 35-year-old julian everett was arrested last timonth, ily charged for three sex assaults. two of his accusers were howard university students at the time. now the prince george's county state's attorney says a fourth woman has come fo everett would lure young women with alcohol and then drive them to a home in prince george's county where he would rape them. >> the parents of makaia wilson are suing the d.c. housing authority for $30 million. the 10-year-old was killed last summer when she was hit by a stray bullet. seven people would ultimately be arrested. her parents say the housing authority shares the blame. the lawsuit says officials knew

pounced on previous comments described as anti-semitic. last fall omar became the first somali american and one of tsl women to be elected to congress. it's now 4:07. a sheriff in louisiana says the 21-yea connection to the arsons that destroyed three historic churches is the son of one of his deputies. holden mathews was arrested yesterday. the three churches he's accused of setti fire to were each more than 100 years old with mostly blackcongregations. it's still not clear whether the arsons were hate crimes. the issue of hate has been on the minds of ameca's largest tech companies this week. representatives from facebook, twitter, andoc otherl media platforms appeared at congressional hearings to talk about monitoring disturbing speech on lineea ier in the week during a house hearing s on theame ia live stream of the conversation had to be shut down because the comments section was quickly filled with hate speech.
