how are yofeeling this morning oner everything that's gon >> up, i'm really excited just because i have so many positive things coming up. i mean this is a small setback. it's something, another thing to get through. >>well, you have been really bre, not everybody that went through what you went abrough will b it so quickly. when you stepped out onto the floor that day, here you aren experienced college gymnast, a senior, did you, were you feeling nervous? did you think it was going to be another routine orse did you s somebody might be off? >> i was a little nervous, but that's easily pretty typical at coa etition. i didn't think anything was off. it was just a lot of, there was a lot of energy in the arena. everything felt normal

usually woul ch you were a big sec gymnast. what was your reaction and then th pain when the injuries took place? >> so at first i thought that could feel my path was off by a bit.le notit didn't seem too normal i guess you could say, just because even if they feel off, i can usually pull it through or end up on my butt. when i had lded that one, i felt like something was a little ong and i thought i had just hyperextended my knees until i looked down and that wasn't the case. so tn that's like when i saw what had happened, that's when the pain started to set in and it got worse. so it was just a big just like ohshoot, like what just happened? >> you showed a lot of grace and bravery just in that very moment. i know you told your teammates

to keep going, go on with the competition, you realized very quickly that was going to be it for your gymnastics career. how have you managed this with such a good, positive spirit? >> i mean just because liken e if that had been, even though that was my last gymnastics meet, everything we hasn for m am. knowing i have their support behind me 100% no matter what happens, like that's always helped me and in this situation it's always helped because like everyoneeen so supportive. like my coaching staff. teammates. my parents, my friends, my milies. they were always right there with me in the whole process and that haseally helped. >> there has been an outpouring of help of people across the counyoy for you did tweet over the week, you wrote this, going through the pain and seeing my knees unbent
