>> the big concern is for the structural integrity. the fire wasut out, but after the spire came crashing into the cathedral, after the roof burned off the structure o has been challenged. it is not as stable. without the roof it is more wobbly. officials have said they are worried about weaknesses. they are worried about cracks. in particular, in the north corner and that is where workers are using a crane to saw off one of the massive statues from that most weakened area. they want to remove it for the safety of the statue so it doesn't come crashing to the ground and also for the safety of the people. there have been evacuations fearing there could have been some type of collapse. five billings all around that wing of notre dame have been evacuated. right now there is an effort under way to stabilize this cathedl after the fire was put

obstruction that has not yetub been plicly disclosed and they're trying to identify the way that they can rebut it. >> reporter: according to a summary from attorney general william barr mueller did not find criminal conspacy between the trump campaign and russia. many democrats will likely zero in on information around obstruction of justice where mueller reached no conclusion according to barr's summary. it was barr and his depy whose decided there was not enough evidence for obstruction thcharges. someg president trump has repeatedly seized on. >> there was no collusion and there was no obstruction. and we never did anything wrong. >> reporter: something he repeated today on twitter. and as for those current and house officials who are concerned about what might be in that report, nbc news has lened that some of their attorneys reached out to the justice department to find out whether their names could bere cted or whether it would be clear who said what. the doj did not elaborate.

help families affected bydo stic violence. just search safe at home. prosecutors in alexandria tonight are preparing to file criminalharges against a company that once worked as a nasa.ctor for >> the exact charges have yet to be announced, but scott macfarlane has learned the company is under investigation for fraud that might be linked to a failed rocket launch. >> scott joins us rom the newsroom with the latest he's learned. >> the u.s. attorney ins alexandria i preparing a criminal case against an aluminum company called hydro s extrn based in oregon. two years ago a supervisor admitted he falsified test results to help sell unre liable and inconsistent products. nasa was one of the company's customers. after the failure of a major missionl in 2011, nasa's interna investigators began looking into what went wrong. an internal nasa report said employees of the contractor were

right now at 6:30, police say achool bus attendant was seen on surveillance video punching a special needs child. >> tonight that employee and the bus driver who police say did nothing about it are facing felony charges. ou northern virginia bureau chief julie carey has our report. >> reporter: kelly rucker, a bus attendance hired to watch over special needs children as they ride the bus to school. many of them aboard, autistic.

he's facing three felony child abuse charges for what happened on a bus in late january. bus security camera caught rucker grabbing a 12-year-old boy in an aggressive manner from trying to restrain him from disruption. rucker would deliberatedly close-hand punch the victim in the back of the head. the victim asked for help from ther children and, quote, screamed in painoughout the duration of the encounter. >> unfortunately we had an adult on the bus, the bus driver in particular. he was an adult who witnessed the assault and could have taken action to prevent them and report the matter to either police or other school authorities and that didn't happen. >> reporter: t bus driver is also charged with child endangerment for failing to step in to help the child and she also allegedly never alerted school officials about what was happening aboard her bus. i contacted school officials to askhrbout that t month gap between the time the inns happened in january and when

police got involved in the case last week. they declined to answer the question, but they said both the attendant and the bus driver were taken off bus duty back in january and kept from any further contact with children. a school district statement goes on to say employees arrested on felony charges are placed on leave pending the outcome of internal investigation. any employee found guilty of a felony is automatically dismissed. both the bus attendant and driver are due in court next week. in manassas, i'm julie carey, news 4. the fbi and virginia spote ce searched a virginia state office in front royal today. this is chopper 4 over the front royal warren county economic development authority offices. you can see some unmarked cars and the state police cruiser on the scene. according to the northern virginia t daily,he feds aren't saying anything about the case. less than a week ago a special grand jury startedponvestigating ntial financial crimes involving the eda, its former director, the county sheriff and

maryland health officials just confirmed aecond kase of the measles. both cases involve people who traveled to an area with an ongoing outbreak of the there's no evidence that meesass is spreading in maryland. it's highly con ttous and highly preventable. two doses are 97% effective at preventing it. measles have spread to 20 states because of small outbreaks involving pple who have not been vaccinated. measles was thought to have been eradicated in the u.s. in the year 2000, but already more than 550 new cases have been reported so far thisear. > road repairs that started today could require crews to

the people of paris are in the seets for a second straight night. they've come together to singan to pray for the cathedral of notre dame. yesterday's inferno left the 12 century landmark badly damaged and structurally unsound, but not destroyed. french president emmanuel macron is asking france to united behin an ambitious goal to rebuild the cathedral in five years. police in montgomery county are trying to track down a man who robbed a woman when she got into his car thinking he was a ride share driver. she got picked up at the "u" street corridor. once she arrived at her complex,
