coverage on the sri lanka attacks. we have a detailed timeline of the bbings in the nbc washington app. we'll also have more into who was responsible coming up at 4:30. a bad turn for an alleged armed robber in maryland. the dramatic scene ended with crews pulling the suspect out of a car submerged in the potomac river. this appened around8:30 last night. the suspect walked into a business on columbia pike in arlington, pulled a gun, stole cash, and drove loff. he police on a chase but then crashed into the potomac river at the gw parkway at 95. we spoke to a woman who saw it go down. >> ihe watched t car kind of go rward and saw it go off the road and on to the pedestrian ith. the next thing saw was the car submerging u er water. >> police say the suspect was the only one in the vehicle and the only one believed to be involved in the robbery. residents in southeast d.c.

now to the mystery surrounding the disappearance of a 5-year-old boy in illinois. andrew has been missing for days, buto there's evidence that he's been abducted, and police haven't namedny suspects. the little boy was last seen wednesda at the family home. the next morning he was gone. police dogs did not pick up his scent outside of the family home. andrew's father wasne questiod by police this weekend. last year the boy's parents were vestigated for abuse andt neglec but were later cleared. ale young woman was and another seriously hurt in a domestic attack involving an axe in brooklyn. sources say an uber driver called police when he saw the woman hurt outside on saturday rning. the woman's 4-year-old daughter was in the apartment during the attack but was not hurt. her friend, however, had been
