stories. we're working to learn more about a house fire ipper marlboro. this is video of that overnight scene o mlard court. prince george's county fire officials have not leased details on injuries or what may have caused the fire. we'll keep youposted. daniel beckwit has been convicted of second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in a man's death. he hired him to dig under the home for a nuclear bunker. the 25-year-old died in a fire inside the house in 2017. prosecutors say beckwitt created the conditions that prevented a copr from leaving the house. he will be sentenced in june. former vice esident joe den is expected to announce that he is running for president. sources tell nbc news he will make the announcement with an online video. this would be den's third run for president. stay with news4 and the app for updates. today the metro board will consid making parkingt some lots free all summer.

we've told you metro's blue andw yellow linesl shut down south of reagan national airport next month. to help commuters, metro is considering offering free parking at the franconia/springfield, huntington, and van dorn streetsations while the shutdown -- street stations whi the shutdown is in effect. a major health alert. the centers for disease control says this is now the worst near for measles in the u.s. sinners it was eradicated nearly decades ago. there are nearly 700 cases nationwide spanning 22 states. most are in new york and washington state. there are four cases in maryland. the cdc blames the outbreak on people who c travel tontries where the outbreaks are happening and brought it back on misinformation on the vaccine that prompted some parentsot to vaccinate their children. measles is highly contagious, affecting 94% of people who are exposed to. it. remember this terrible crash in southeast washington. nearby cameras caught the

chain-reaction crash that killed a young man walking on the sidewalk on easter sunday. family, friends, and community members held a vigil for 31-year-old abdul sekh yesterday. they met near 16th and vuttreets soheast where the crash happened. police say the driver who caused the crash ran a stop sign. temporary stop signs are in place. during the vigil, drivers continue to go right through them, forcing d.c. police to stand in the street to enforce th traffic law. sekh was in the neighborhood to visit his friend. she's devastated. >> i just wish he didn't have to lose his life for the to happen on the streets. he was a good person. he had m soh like goals, the way he wanted his life.li and his fe shouldn't have to have been cut short the way it was. >> ashe community grieves, people say they want the roads to be safer. there were 11 traffic-related deaths in the area last year. that is the most of any wnd
