new information from today's hearing in a grean belt maryl federal court. prosecutors laid out more of their case against lieutenant hassan, but the judge suggested it's not enough to keep him i jail. the government said hassan was poised to launch a terror attack. prosecutors say he successfully silenclegal homemade he wanted to murder quietly. the feds accused him of starting to target people to the hit list including two u.s. supreme court justices. but the defense is rejecting those arguments. the defense team said prosecutors have not provided any evidence the 30 year military veteran had planned any sort of attack. hassanaces weapons charges. the judge says prosecutors need to provide more evidence to justify keeping hassan behind bars until trial. and he'll have a chance to do that at another hearing coming up. prosecutors say they will opose

any motio to give hassan bail. from the live desk, i'm erika gonzalez, news 4. >> thank you, erica. a mother chargedh driving drunk in a crash that killed two of her own children also staying blind bars tonight. >> the judge called dominique taylor a danger to the community. the crash in bowie earlier this year also killed three other children and taylor's boyfriend >> princorge's county bureau chief tracee wilkins was the only reporter in court today. she joins us live from upper marlboro with the new details on this really sad case. >> reporter: it is a sad case and me gote sad details today in court. part of that was also a reflection of what happened in court a week ago when dominique taylor was here on an unrelated case. what happened in that court case played a part in what happened in today's hearing. this is video of dominique taylor sitting front row at the funeral for the children s allegedly killed in a car crash. today a judge called taylor a

danger to the communi. she ordered her to be held in jail on $100,000 bond. earlier this week a grand jury indicted taylor on 12 charges related to a crash that killed six passengers in her car including two young children. taylor turned herself in yesterday on charges including vehicular homicide while intoxicated. her 5 and 8-year-old daughters were kille t along withir cousins, a 14-year-old, 6-year-old, and 15-year-old. 23-year-old passenger cornell simon died from his injuries a few weeks after the crash. taylor was the only survivor. today in court her attorneyed arguis client should be released from jail because she has a spinal cord injury, a whe andds multiple surgeries. e state countered that argument saying taylor was exaggerating her injuries.

assistants say taylor was in court last week and lunged at someone. she was using a crutch with no brace last week. he went on to say that in taylor's blood alcohol level being twice the legalimit at the time of the crash, there were also traces of marijuana in h sm.yste attorney had this to say about prosecuting this case earlier this week. tragedy, ith all that we have to do our job. we have to seek justice.ol we have to h individuals who are at fault accountable. >> tracee, it's clear taylor has some issues. did she have any friends or rmily in court today to support her? >>orter: there were a couple of family members there. one cousin who told the judge that she wanted to speak on taylor's behalf. but after hearing everything that the state had to present today and hearing that, she changed her mind and wanted to hold her peace. she also declined any comme after the case.
