story last night. demand for change at an intersection in the district where a man was killed while walking on a sidewalk easter sunday. this chain reaction crash in southeast d.c. caught by nearby security cameras ended his life. and as news4's leon harris joins to us aiexn, changes were made to that intersection. less than a day after our reporting. >> after you see that video, it is easy to understand why theye would mak a change so quickly. people who live near that sidewalk where the man was run over and killed days ago in they district, the woke up to some changes today. the sbegs of 16 and v street southeast has gone from a two-way stop intersection to a four-way stop and that happen in less than 24 hours. it also has four new high visibility crosswalks. those changes could have help out in that case of the 31-year-old who was killed. he said he wain visitfrom new york when he was hit by a drive who ran by a stop sign. >> i just wish he didn't hav

the rain area, you will see most of it is on the lighter side. back toward the stwe back toward wink, shenandoah valley. you've got a couple areas in yellowhat's just south of winch. it will move through the area. about the next 5ten, minutes. nothing strong and even tomorrow morning. not expecting anythg too strong. we are expecting a rather wet morning rush. the strongest storms are down toward parts of florida. a tornadoatch in florida. these are not coming our way. what will is what's right in here. this is the spin. any time youee a spin in the atmosphere, it makes its way, you think maybe se storms. if it moves just to our north and west, that's where we have the chance for some strong storms. that's where the sto prediction center has us in a slight risk of severe weather. that's areas in the yellow including southern maryland, c., fredericksburg, points to the south. what does a slight risk mean? iteans we'll get one to two, maybe three severe thunderstorm warnings during the day

tomorrow. that's just something to th k about. that's normally what we get with that kind of a system. here it is tonight. you can see the rain area wide as we move through overnight. more showers off and on. 7:00 ta.m., you notice lighter showers around the d.ct me area. a couple of heavier showers toncrd wister, toward the south. mostly light. around 10:00, 11:00, a little break here. and then we see the storm really come into our area.at 1:00, wing some heavier showers. here's the line. back to the west. at 3:00, look at this. a couple of strongerstorms. you can see in the red, coming in across our region. as it moves across, here's 3:00, 4:00, moving through d.c. area. 5:00, 6:00, they move off toward the chesapeake and toward the east by 6:00, 7:00 if you have dinner reservations. i think they'll be okay. a good idea to wait until they're out of there. heavy rain definitely going to be on the highest side. wind going to be a factor. a middle east faedium factor.
