>> the system triggering a tornado warning earlier a a watch that's still in effect. >> that's the sound of a storm system out there blowing through. new video coming in of a rewnpour in arlington an hour ago. weow kicking off three hours of live team weather coverage. let's go to storm team 4 meteorologist doug kammerer and amelia draper standing by. this last hour has beenou crazy there. where is everything happening right now? >> the good news is most of this is now moving out of the d.c. meo area closer to the chesapeake bay. that is where the area is under the gun right now. if you le along the chesapeake by, you're seeing it now. behind this something different re moving in. >> behind this we'alking wind chills. yes, wind chill. >> for tomorrow morning. it's amazing what this storm is going to do. c out there youan see what's happening. severe thunderstorm warnings with this line. look at this intense thunderstorm line that has developed and moved through the

reeg. now right over the chesapeake bay. all of this area in orange, warnings.understorm this severe thunderstorm warning for calvert county, st. mary, that gs until 4:30. behind this heavy rain. we have a tornado warning in this area a little bit earlier. have not seen much in the way of damage from that. i don't think we had actually had a tornado, but that's something we're going to be watching for. we still have the strong storms. notice calvert county and st. mary county. this is where i really think, this storm right here, look at this one, a little bit of a hook. e've had numerous reports o winds and strong winds in this area. heads up in st. mary county, southern calvert county as wellg stro winds likely with these storms as they're moving off to the east. you can hear the bping. there is a new tornado warning that does not include our area.

night at this american landmark. if you watch closely, you'lln se a per dressed in black with a hood or hat walk across away from the archives. shortly after you will see a glow fromlames. a police report says the person ignited a gas can to create the fire. security couldn't knockdown the flaem flames, so they called d.c. fire. the outside marble was damaged. a wider image oe surveillanc video shows the person making an escape across the street. this is from the archives which is full of americareasures including the constitution, the bill of rights which attracts billings from around t nation. the public museum had closed two hours before the incident. >> we could have gotten hurt. the billing could have gotten significant damage. we also have very important documents in the building, so obviously a fire isetrimental

to that. >> just last week a man was a ested in new york for similar incident. he was accused of crying two gas cans, lighter fluid to st. patrick's cathedral in the city but was stopped by security and arrested. they are still looking for the person who ignited in the flames in the archives and are hoping for tips from the public to help them fine the person. at the live desk, scott macfarlane. >> thank you, scott. the russian woman who admitted being a secret agent for her country willan serve her nine months behind bars here in the u.s. today a judge sentenced her to 18 months. she's served about half that she was an american university graduate student and gun rights activist. she used her contacts to gather information for moscow. we're following developments in that horrible crash last evening just outside of denver. three tractor trailers and 24 othe vehicles were involved in this incident on i-70 out therep

virginia bureau chief julie carey, no amount ofn coak could get her to court. >> today the judge giving her an ultimatum. veroca youngblood is accused of killing both her daughters last august. the violence followed years of a contentious custody dispute with her ex-husband who justet red from the navy and was getting ready to relocate, to move with the girls to missouri. today psecutors had planned to layout their case against youngblood in a preliminary hearing, but she refused to come to court. her defense attorneys went to the jail to meet with her. still she refused. her attorney telling theudge youngblood is, quote, an incredibly mentally ill young woman. saying this case has got to move on, the judge issued an order. he'll deliver it to youngblood in a video hookup on monday

morning. this storm very powerful storm system just to our north and west. that helps it produce this line that came through d.c. right around 3:00. 4:00 over towards our eastern county and now as it crosses over the bay, a tornado warning just north of kent island. a severe thunderstorm warning along the eastern shore. this warning will be allowed to expire and cancel. the other portion is canceled here is the tornado watch for most of u we still have it in the eastern county. no longer a tornado watch tonight. now, we still have showers around. you see them around gaithersburg, back to the rest around warrenton, down around fredericksburg. some heavier rain in parts of the northern neck. the heaviest storms are across the bay approaching 50 over towards easton and down towards
