christopher le point sho and killed this man suspected of an attempted robbery in silver spring. yesterday it announced the investigation found the officer's actions were juorified. the r states on january 16th he walked into the bb&t bank and claim aed a bomb was i his ckpack. a panic button pressed alerting authorities. the suspect ran out of the bank demanding he stop.tted him when he did not, the officer firedal sever shots. he was later -- he was hit and later passed away. officers found he had no explosives on him. > fairfax city police investigating a case of unlawful filming it happened at a local gym. according to court documents a man changing clothes on planet fitness noticed a phone sticking ouch a nearby gym bag and the phone seemedo be recording. the man got a fits in center employee and confronted the

surveillance clear. thieves may have a tough time hiding from police. >> reporter: take a look at this exclusive surveillance video knewconsignment store dupont circle. four men dressed in dark colored hooded sweatshirts walk up the stairs. suddenly one shatters a display case with a hammer and theyb quickly grahree expensive handbags leaving employees and the store mascot winnie the dog in fear. >> very scary. >> reporter: this employee tells me the men robbed the place:0 around 30 stealing three hermes handbags. total value, $36,000. >> the stairiest part we heard a bang and thought it was a gun. >> the store is kind of discombobulated we need it put back together. >> reporter: the store owner says she just celebrated 33 years in business. >> this is the first time anything like this happened to us. >> reporter: first time? >> first time in 33 years. >> repter: she tells me an hour before the robbery the suspects cased the joint showing

orange glow. that is from the flames. there it it is right there. police say that the man ignited a gas can, security could not stop the flames.al theyd the fire department and they were able to put it out before it spread into the building. a wider image shows the man making his escape. there he is right there. the archives is home to american treasures and hosts tens of thousands of visitors every year. the building the public museumc ed just two hours before all this happened. >> somebody could have really gotten hurt. the building could have gotten significant damage, if the fire wasn't put out so kwik quickly. we have very important documents in the building. obviously a fire isal detrime to that. >> the archives released still photos of the gas can used and we see some of the burnam de along the marble there on the building. the fed says they're still looking for the person who ignited the flames and hopingip for t from you the public. d.c. police find a man wounded inside a car in
