a group chat over the weekend. the letter from the principal says in part, quote, the derogatory and raciall inappropriate statements made to the female students in this group chat saturday are unacceptable. he says the sheriff's office is investigating, and the children involv will be disciplined. this morning, renewed calls for safety changes on the gw parkway. >> last night an early evening crasd kille a taxi driver, left ree people hurt, and snarled traffic for hours. this happened during the evening rush in the bellevue area ofir fax county. both the northbound and southbound les had to be closed. a taxi and vw bugli cded head on. the cab driver died at the scene. two tthers were airlifted the hospital with life-threatening injuries. a local lawmaker says the crash is a reminder that work needs to be done to improve safety. one of the things i suggested, if the park servi p up speed cameras the intersections, i think it would go a long way to getting speeds down to 45 or 35 miles per hour,

thank you. 5:07. we're waiting to learn morab t a violent attack in the district. d.c. police tell news4 a man was stabbed several times yesterday afternoon on michigan avenue northeast. no word on his ndition, and no arrests have been made. we know that a deadly stabbing at the potomac average metranstation beg as a robbery. we first told you about this yesterday. three teenagers robbed a man and stabbed him several times. this happened just before midnight sunday night above the escala area at the station in southeast. the victim is believed to be in his 40s but has not yet been identified. d.c. police hope surveillance video from the station will help lead to an arrest. 5:097. today a -- 5:07. today a marine with localwiies be laid to rest at arlington national cemetery. >> family, friends, and colleagu will pay the last respects to sergeant christoper slutman. he was killed by a bomb in afghanistan earlier this month. he was a life member of the kentland volunteer fire department in prince george's county. he was also a veteran of the ne

felicity huffman will plead guilty next month on charges related to the massive college admissionscandal. the "desperate housewives" star will appea in court on may 13th. precutors say huffman paid $15,000 to have someone correct the answers on her daughter's s.a.t. test. according to the terms of the plea deal, huffman could spend between four and ten months in prison. entencing date will likely be set at the may hearing. 5:14. a north carolina woman says a judge threatened to throw her in jail bause she was breast-feeding her baby in hecourt. >> tom was in court to contest a traffic ticket. as she was wasting to called, she -- she was waiting to be called, she started feeding her- three-montold daughter. the courthouse rule prohibits children under 12 in the courtroom. she left the baby with her husban in theallway and tried to explain why she needs to have her baby with her at all times.
