we're going to begin this hour with a horrific crash in prince george's county that left witnesses there completely shaken. >> a dump truck runs over a man on crutches trying to cross the street. that pedestrian did not survive. the scene is along kennel worth avenue. and chris joins us with reaction from people who knew the victim. tell us what happened. >> reporter: pat, witnesses they they are shock and saddened. i'm standing next to kenilworth avenue. witnesses said they wanted to take the time to tell us what happened. >> the truck hit him and threw him in the air. >> reporter:aying the accident happened right in front of his store and he was shaken by what he saw.

high stakes hearing on capitol hill today hearing from attorney general barr for the first time since the mueller report. and that mueller was frustrated with his summary of his work. >> his work concluded when he sent his report to the attorney general. at thatoint, it was my baby. i was making a decision as to whether or not make it public. >> that letter providing fresh ammunition to democrats just hoursefore the hearing today. joining us today, senior editoma murray. talk about the impact. >> it was the tableet sr. it was incredibly contentious between democrats and republicans and put bar on t defensive. one of the big takeaways even going when this letter came out was just the contrast of barr's
