about a high school student's death. the principal sent out information about the death of the student who was reported missing friday. the letter said his remains were found in the district over the weekend. police have not officially tonnected the student's death the mutilated body that was found in a wooded area near the bridge. police suspect gangs may have been involved and are asking parents to keep an eye on kids. >> i have cameras around my house to be safe. i'm cautious of what i let them do and go. >> d.c. police have not been ab b to identify they damaged.it was so badly an 8-year-old girl is in the hospital with serious injuries after she was hit by a car in laurel. the incippnt ed yesterday morning on shoreline boulevard. police say the driver later called and turned himlf in, explaining that he did stop but left when the little girl ran off. we're told the driver will still be chargedwitheaving the scene of an accident.

we're learning details about the latest atm robbery in the area. we brought you this as breaking news yesterday. two suspects in a truck smashed through the front window of a 7-eleven onech road in silver spring and stole the atm. right before that happened, two people dressed in black went into th store and forced the workers to the ground. there have been at least sixatm robberies at7-elevens around the area in the last two months. it's believed so are connected. 4:35. time for a check of your top stories this morning. police say a group of teens tried to rob a woman at her home in soueast shington. the group followed hero her apartment and threatened her. you can see they pushed their way into thend building continued to threaten her. police say one of the woman's s relativeran the kids off. no one was hurt. house democrats areed up and raising the stakes. bc news is reporting they're planning to skip speaking to attorney general william barr ht and go straig to special counsel robert mueller. this comes after barr skipped
