hail, wind gusts up to 75 miles an hour 37 can't rule out a tornado in that actually. >> once again, this is well west of the metro washington area, d.c. area are not in that watch at all. the severe thunderstorm watch continues until 10:00. frederick count loudon county, fauquier county and points to the west. it is this storm rightha here t we're really watching that has really flared up a ton of lightning out of this. looking at somef the hail, upwards of 2 inch hail likely. we have quarter inch hail has already fallen aroun the area and this warning goes until 5:30. a new storm forming in shenandoah county. i want to zoom back in. this is just to the south of the winchester area. heads up, yes, we have rotation and we'll see what happens outs of the storm. ee're watching that one and watching this linight here. once it moves into this region, we could see more severe weather. that's why we're in weather alert mode once most of this well west of washington, but even into d.c.

this nanny is taking a 7 ounce bottle of formuledand feg it to this 8 month old. we're not showing what happens next. according to state prosecutors, she feeds the child so forcefully that the infant suffocates. the nanny then force feeds the infant water. the once vibrant 8 month old playing in herker just moments earlier passes o from dies. >> she should have known that her actions could have caused serious bodily harm and in this case death. >> adeleye called the death an accident. prosecutors say she was not honest ith the father about what she did. they only found outafter checking the nanny cam video. in court the father said i ask, your honor, that this lady who took my daughter away get the maximum. she should be locked up forever. 73-year-old adeleye got on her knees and said i beg you please as she sobbed, i did not want to

dedicated teacher. comg up on news 4 at 6:00, i'm going to walk you through some of the recent incidents that are very similar to what played out here yesterday. >> interesting,ha t you, david. a loudon cou y teacherwho is accused of sending racy photos of herself to students is expected to plead guilty on monday. allison briel was in juvenile court this morning. she's on administrative leave as the marketing teacher at loudon county high. briel sent photos to three underage boys in her class. she also reportedly solicited sex from two of them. day a judge amended her charges. she now faces three misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. we've got some new video from that latest atm theft early yesterday morning to show you in silver spring. two robbers entered this 7/11 on tech road and forced the store employees to the floor. a third person rammed the pickup truck through the front of the store. they loaded the atm on to the

vehicle and just took off. the store workers were not injured. the thies wore black hoodies and covered their faces. so far there have been no arrests. metro's major summer shutdown is the weeks away. tomorrow buses will replace trains at six of the stations. blue and yellow line ations south of reagan national airport are going to be closed. that means no stops at the airport. the yellow line is closed at huntington, eisenhower, king street, braddock ro ad. blosed on the van do rn street and franconia. f you takeber or lyft, a big ride sharing strike is planned for next we k. it could mean no service for hours. there are calls for drivers to turn off their apps next wednesday in d.c. and six other major cities across the countrym

west, that's where the watch is. the watch is until 10:00 tonight. we expect a lot more in the way ofrms over the next few hours. this is where we've got the heaviest rain. very heavy rain here, but look at this storm right here. this is just to the south and east of winchester. this is all clark county right now in virgia. look at the amount of lightning around the millwood area. this location, if you're in the millwood area, make sure you are staying inside. there's a lot of hail. we're getting a lot of hail with this storm. i've seen nickle size, quarter size and golf ball size hail. national weather service says with this storm we could see 70 mile an hour winds. that could bring down trees. be careful as this storm is making its way north and east. this is go ng into toward western loudon county and parts of jefferson county in towards west virginia. just a nasty, nasty storm right. no that's really the only game in town. we've got another storm coming in.

housing department. no decrease in rat activity was detected over time. >> definitely proven thatolorks challenging. >reporter: she says the successful study mentioned on the company's website was in no way affiliated wite health department and that the health department never asked for help deploying the product which could have affected its outcom. st people, their definition of success is a wheelbarrow full of dead rats. >> reporter: she says you can never count the total number of rats, but you can tell how much of the product is missing from the containers and if there are fewer baby rats runningou talke about what their results were? ve not. we believe without knowing that it's going to work. >> reporter: they should know in about six months. the measure of success will be if the city receives a drop inin compla near those alleys and fewer rat holes and droppings near . if thathappens, they'll expand

here's the next storm that's taking its place. if we did see a severe inhunderstorm warn it would be for frederick county again. that would include the winchesterirea. thone is not moving fast at all. that's it. it could dump very heavy rain in that area. ore storms up around the martinsburg area. not a ton of lightning. moderate to heavy rain along i-81. tracking this line, i this moves in to the severe thunderstorm watch area, we could see a little resurgence re of some of the thunderstorms. watch out for that mostlyaround the 7:00, 8:00 hour. you folks arod port royal getting in on some of the action. something else to think about, ng s is what we're tal about, slow moving storms producing a lot of rainfall. we have a flash flood watch in fect until midnight. again, not in d.c., but we do have a chance fors show overnight and another chance of just plain rain tomorrow night into sunday. amelia, we're going to be talking about the chances for
