we'lll the timing of all that and start looking into the weekend coming up a little later on in the half hour. back to the news. >> all right. thank you. we begin with an update on breaking news we brought you yesterday. the search is sadly over for an suv that sank in the potomac river. the body of a 72-year-old woman was foside. >> her name is barbara bushkin, and her heartbroken husband says she was on her way home fom a charity event when this happened. pulled the suv out of the water late last night near roosevelt island. it had gone into the water on sunday. and crews spt more than 24 hours searching for it. the circumstances of the accident are stillr unde investigation. in an emotional facebook post, bushkin's husband, arthur, said his lifelong valtine had passed away. he thanks search crews for their hard wk and asks people to do an act of kindness in barbara's memory. right now, prince george's county police are looking for a mother and her teenage son in connection with a man who was found dead at a bus stop in

this morning a man accused of killing two young fairfax county residents more than two years ago is back on u.s. soil and behi bars. the victims were found dead in springfield in december of6. 201 shortly after the murders, police say the killer escaped to ethiopia. friday night a special fbi plane brought him back to dulles airport. the first time in dcades that ethiopia agreed to extradite a suspect in a criminal case to the u.s. today, r&b singer robert kelly will be in court to mi request perssion to leave illinois. last month kelly's attorney asked a judge whether the singer could take a private jet to perform ncerts overseas. he is facing ten counts of criminal sexual abuse, an as a condition of his bail he cannot leave the state without permission.l

chuck how we looking outside? >>oing to be a nice day to be outside today. sunshine aplenty. 14 hours and two minutes of daylight today to enjoy it. mhere in theth of may, so far it has been warmer and wetter than average. and not by a little, by a ot. the first almost full week of the month of may, 6.5 degrees warmer than average. inchainfall, almost a full above, very, very similar to last year when we had an incredibly warm month, 6.5 degrees warmer than average for the month. and nearly double ourrainfall, average rainfall for the month. so this is the kind of thing in a changing climate, warmer and wetter than average. these patterns have a tendency to lock in more severely. we'll see if we can get a break from the heat and the rain into the month. county -- counting on a break in the heat as we get closer to the suiner is not someth you want to count on. right now, enjoy the morning. 50s to around 60 degree most areas.
