d news, bute signs are up acd a busy part of radio could creek and potom parkway is closed all this morning. not just drivers, cyclists and pedestrians will need to steer enclear this week the closure started last night the intersection of rock creek and virginia avenue northwest and extenown i-66, potomac river freeway interchange, behind the lincoln memorial. it's just the area around the kennedy center that's closed to bike and foot traffic. the closure is so crews can pnstall adestrian bridge connecting the waterfront to the kennedy centitr. will allow access to the mall and roosevelt bridge, part of an improvement project. today is not the only day you'll have to deal with the roadwork. it's not scheduled to reopen until 5:30 tuesday morning. have some patience and plan ahead. back to you. >> it's going to be a problem. thank you. this morning we have a

better idea of how the national par service plans on repairing the george washington parkway. it's one of the roughest stretches of road in the area. the north section will be rehabbed first from spout run by the ey bridge all the way to the beltway. the parks service says it just needs the money to make the repairs. it's trying to secure that right now. we have breaking news right now. there's a search for a missing teen in prince george's county. take a look at your screen here. police say this is 6-year-old aidan legal. he is on the autism spectrum and is nonverbal. we're told he w last seen last night in the 12000 block of starling lane. he was wearing yellow pajamas and had head phones. call police if you know where he might. this morning, more on the shocking virginia showing a montgomery county police officer using a racial slur toward a group of black men. >> the men were waiting to be picked up for a landscaping job outside of a mcdonald's. but the police said they were ss trespai

this morning we're learning there is a racial disparity when it comes to access to treatment for opioid addiction. researchers found that white e patients wre nearly 35 times more likely to get a prescription for addiction treatment medications. that is compared to eafrican-americans who w also struggling with addiction. 74% of those office visits were either paid for by cash orou thr private insurance.
