you are correct. country house, the kentuckyde by winner apparently is coming down with some kind of a sickness, so he won't be here. that is not in itself unprecedented. it doesn't happen very often. we did have a derby winner in '96. grindstone got hurt in the derby. then go back to 1985 when a horse named spend a buck, his owners skipped thereakness on purpose to run in another race. it upset the pimlico people so badly that in the preakness barn behind me there is a stall reserved for the derby winner. that year they put a goat in stall 40 in the absence of the winner. derby there's no goat there right now. there's no goat this year, but we would much rather have country house and maximum security here. >> that's cold. that's funny had never heard that story before. you're there at pimlico.ha the place a lot of history. it's starting to show some age there. how does it look to you? does it look like it's ready for a race?

the big forecast now is about the summer and whatre we' going to be looking at. the first thing i'm talking about today is theic hurres. one of the things that we look at here, we look at -- i think because felt gulf of mexico and the atlantic ocean beingbove average, you'll very more of average to slightly above average storms. we're talking 12 to 15 named stormt is. ix to eight hurricanes. this is close to average. then two to three major hurricanes. but let's take a look and show you the next graphic here. what i'm talking about as we make our way into the next couple of months, hurricane season starts june 1st. most of these storms are going to be weak meaning tropical storms or low endne category o storms. heads up in florida, especially early in the season. all the years that i'm looking at, florida got hit pretty hard with rain. again, nothing too big as far as storms go.
4:41 pm
but rain i p heavy ints of florida, so watch out there. talking about june and july in florida. now, watch our beaches in the midd ocofthd guweek of august.a we could havtorm and a big one, maybe category two, category three moving up the coast. i do't think it will co on shore in our area. it will be off the coast, but it will affect our beaches. we will have rain at the beaches. we'll have wind. maybe some storm surge. new england could get hit in the middle ofugust. so all in all, we're looking at a pretty good hurricane season for most of the u.s. could obviously -- could we have a big storm? yes, but i think the chances of that are low thisear. amelia, we're looking at the summer forecast now. coming up i'm going to have more on the rain, what we can expect as far as rain is concerned. we're actually watching for ach ce of rain tomorrow morning. >> yeah, absolutely. very similar to this morning, we think tomorrow morninggohere are ng to be scattered showers out there. right now we have our temperatures in the mid to upper
