let's talk a little severe weather. the threat dying down. what we look forward to on monday. > so yeah, the heat was really our trigger and because the sun is set things have improved as far as the severe threat goes however there is some thunderstorms still popping in the region i want to take you to the radar just to give you the latest on that. that storm we were tracking has now pushed through carol county and died down. back west, all of that green, that's rain. do we still have lightningst kes up there? you can see the thunderstorms fizzling out as well. that's going to continue to pull toward the northeast like this. so as it does that, a few people in our neighborhood may see -- or in our area, may see an isolated shower or maybe sprinkles. but nothing big to worry about tonight. looking back, i mean, this is ont is going to continue to ld drive ilininging us another chance and trigger for showers tomorrow afternoon. i'm pushing through at 2:00 a.m.

done drying out. by 11:00 a.m. lunchtime tomorrow it's a lot of sunshine for your monday afterroon and here ad the evening rush is when it's going to provide a few showers or storms pop tomorrow afternoon. they'll be brief so m yst ofur day is spent dry. temperatures will be another talker as they are today. today's high at 87 in washington d.v. of course just to the south of us it did hit the low 90s. tomorrow not much of a difference there until the front passes through. back to work, bck to school, it is a humid start. temperatures in the 70s. by the afternoon, that's when we're going to see that threat for storms between 3:00 and 6:00. that's your window there and temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s on the backnd of that starting to cool things down. take a look ate th temperature trend beyond monday.
