drug that's been around for years. and a change in the local church community. d.c. gets a w archbishop and he's making history. we begin tonight with a violent night ahead in the southern plains after a major outbreak of tornados today. the national weather service is warning of a rare d particularly dangerous situation two funnel clouds side by side near oklahoma city. >> tornado! >> from texaso nebraska, 85 reported tornados since friday, 31 of those confirmed leaving a trail of destructiln. >> of this on the anniversary of the massive tornado, an ef-5 that ripped through moore oklahoma in 2013 kills 24 people. >> one concern overnight is flooding now.

degree. she's facing 11ch arges. it began in 2012 when she was fired last year after clients became suspicious prompting the investigation. avery worked for a medical practice called pediatric partners for attention and learning. erica. >> a massachusetts man is charged with sexually assaulting the teenager who sat next to him on a flight to dallas international airport. the news4 scott mcfarlan uncovered court documents on the latest airborne sexual assault on a local flight. >> the fbi affidavit reviewed by news4 is a diffilt thing to read. it says george logan assaulted the 16-year-old. he began my touching the girl's knee, thenbegan sexually grouping her, placing a blanket over her leg, making it

fficult for others to see him. the affidavit says the victim was quietly crying with tears streaming down her face. the man denies the accusations. he's in court friday for allegation. this is not the first such allegation on a local flight. at least four other sexual assault cases aboard flights to dallas or ragan national since 2013. the fbi has posted warning signs which say sexual assaults aboard flights are federal crimes. the fbi d.c. field office has an airport liaison team agents assigned to handle the crimes. sir yogann's case will be prosecuted. >> tomorrow a big day for d.c. catholics. archbishop wilten gregory will

safety and also unfortunately telling some of the stories of those thatat community had lost -- 24 to be exact, manych dren in those numbers. and what we were seeing there, you know, it looked like a lumbar yard in some cases. >> yeah, just all flat t >> and in other cases almost like a junkyard wherear c were smashed and compacted. and it was just incredible to think that mher nature and her full force could do that with wind. >> that was an ef-5 tornado with winds up to 212-miles-per-hour. that was the worry today. this was the strongest language i've seen them in oklahoma use talking about long track tornados in that area. the good news we did not see that happen today. i've seen 17 tornados. that's a lot tornados for one day. but so far i have not seen much -- there is one house that did get destroyed, however nobody hurt inthere.

i have not heard any injuries. that is a huge thing. we're not done yet though. you take a look at the map here. you see couple areas the in yellow, one around the dallas area.o this is close ablean still under a tornado watch. numerous warnings. this was the greatest threat for tornados. look how all the thunderstorms came together. that's a good thing. you do not want theerated becoming isolated super cells. the biggest threat still a lower tornado threat, but still flash flooding is a bigger threat. look what's happening. look at denver,re colorado. to 6 inches of snow for them today on thek bside, may 20th, severe weather here, snow back towardhe west. you can see numerous tornado warnings in parts of texas. now a brand-new tornado watch is open for oklahoma city waiting to see if thes organized cells

in dallas are going to start to fire off. for us we had a cold front come through, brought showeruple ru rumbles of thunder. we are looking at a nice night. 90 d.c., 92 annapolis. that's the warmest weather we've seen so far this year although yesterday felt warm because it was more humid on our sunday. currently we're beautiful. rlly nice night. the rest of the region starting to fall into m so of the 60, 68 degrees in winchester. i think many areas will wake up to the upper 50, low 60s, so great start to tuesday. want to show you something else. here we are with the cold front movins through. thiis a tropical storm. so, we've got snow, we've got tornados, and a tropicalstorm. this is andrea. it's going to move very close to bermuda, but it is expected to dissipate and not become all that strong. so, that one's moving out.
