the national weatr service says the twister register as an ef-2. in mississippi, flooding has been the big problem. this is aerial footage taken justthf jackson. boats are being used to rescue people who have become trapped. s flooding continue to be an issue in oklahoma, too. hundreds of people there are being urged to seek higher ground. the oklahoma highway patrol says one driver died after trying tou drive thr floodwaters on a road. 5:06. developing in the district thiso ing, a v.a. employee facing serious charges after two hidden cameras were found in the bathroom at aovernment office. news4's megan mcgrath is live on i street where this all happened. what can you tell us? reporter: well, a disturbing story certainly. when you go into a restroom, you expect to have some privacy. a woman was quite surprised when she found a micro camera inside a stall at the department of

veterans affairs in northwest.ve a goment employee, 24-year-old alex greenlee has been arrested and charged with ntive misdemeanor cou of voyeurism. the investigation began in january. a woman -- the woman who found the camera says that greenlee was outside the bathroom when she walked out and that he told her heeeded to go inside tot ge paper towels because there weren't any inhe men's room. now a few dayslater, a second micro cam was found in another stall. now investigators questioned greenlee, and he denied any knowledge ofhe cameras. however, according to court documents, a forensic search of the camera's memory cards shows that -- shows video, rather, of greenlee installing the ca apparently five women were videotaped. one of the victims, the tre stilling to identify her. back to you. >> megan mcgrath for us ow downt thank you.

this morning we still don't know who is in the racist photo that appeared on virginia governor ralph northam's medical school yearbook page. after a four-month investigation, independent attorneys could not conclusively determine the identities of either individual in the photo published in 1984. when a right-wing website published the picture this year, northam first apologized, but then later denied being in the picture. northam released a statement in response that came out rt, "i ay, it reads in am not in the racist and offensive photo. that said i know and understand the events of early february,my and response to them have caused hurt for many virginians, and for thatam i sorry." we put the full 36-page report in the nbc washington app. it was supposed to be a sa bipartin meeting on infrastructure between president trump and speaker nancy pelosi. three minutes after it began, it was over. the president left the meeting and marched right to the white house rose garden. he publicly declared he wouldn't

the scarlet oak restaurant ledt wnesday night. they say someone hit him in tea causing a serious injury. on sunday, johnson's family took him off life support. detectives are waiting for a report from the medical examiner's office before they call his death a homicide. >> it appears t t there may have been a crime committed. we're just waiting for an official ruling. we have done apretty good job already on the investigation to identify all the parties that are involved. so i'm pretty confident we'll bb to get to the bottom of it. >> johnson worked as a senate r staff mem for three decades. the prince george's county department of correcs is defending itself after a bombshell accusation from federal immigration agents. i.c.eis blaming the detention center for releasing two suspected ngms-13 gaembers now accused of killing a 14-year-old girl. jail officials say that's not what happened. jose fuentes ponce and joel r cobar were arrested last y for attempted murder. i.c.e. says they were released despite an.c.e. detainer.

41. we're back with a story that's getting a lot of attention on line. a man wanted by police in coecticut made an unusual request. jose simms said he would turn himself in if his mug shot received enough likes on the department's facebook page. simms offered himself up to the torrington police department for ,000 likes. he eventually agreed to 15,000 instead. oveikight, the number of l ended up surpassing hisr oiginal request. this morning he is still on the run. it's unlikely he'll turn himself n. among the reasons he wanted, he famed to appear in court seven -- failed to appeart in cour seven times. he will probably fail to appear at jail. the charges he's facing range from risk of injury to a to misuse of 911. >> predicti ridiculous. a man also making headlines for conning a georgia woman out of $80,000 is wanted in this

5:46. a disturbing developing story unfolding inside an office building where hundreds of federal employees will return to work today. two hidden cameras led to an arrest at the offi of veterans affairs in chinatown. one ma is facing charges while investigators work on finding out more. >> and near's megan mcgrath joins us live from outside the v.a. building on i street. what canou tell us this morning? >> reporter: well, certainly a verydisturbing ory. just imagine that you're inside the restroom, and sudden you notice a hidden micro camera in one of the bathroom stalls. that's what happened here at the department of veterans affairs on i street. a government employee, 24-year-old alex greenlee, has been arrested. he's been charged with five counts of misdemeanor voyeurism. this investigation actually began back in january. the wom who found the camera says that greenlee was outside
