a dirt. and when the wind swept through, the tree fell right on top of the building right here. two men were renovating it. and they immediately evacuated. they saw the suv and they say they can't leave because if they remove the suv, that perhaps the concete could come up and cause serious problems on ultimate here. now, there is a woman who lives right down the bloc we talked to her. >> the rain started and i heard a big boom and i was like my whole house just shook. >> reporter: that's righ she says her whole house just shook and you can see all the damage here. now, somebody be told me they work for a tree company and they will have to remove the suv before they can then chop into the tree and remove it. there is w an elderlyan who lives right next door to where this occured and she says she

pleasant residents will be very concerned when they hear these reports. >> reporter: police say the victims lived just two doors from each other. >> they both involved a situation where the suspect in the case indicated that they had a weapon and then they both involve a sexual assault and demand for money. >> reporterthe first as sexual assault happened tuesday at 1:00 a.m., the suspect entering by removing an air conditioner from a backwindow. this man is a witness who doesn't want to be identified. he says the victim knocked on r. his doo >> she said a man had broken in and he was here now and he stepped where i could see him and he said don't make any noise, i've got a gun, i'll kill her. >> reporter: he says the attacker stole the victim's bicycle. police are canvassing stores and homes here handing out these flyers with pictures of the susct wearing a hoodie and riding a by sick dell. the pictures come from neighborhood surveillance cameras.

the national weather service will have to come out to confirm whether this was the cause of a tornado going through columbia,n maryl that tree toppling on to a house nearly cut in half. this was an area that was in at ado warning this afternoon. and doug says that the damage is consistent with a tornado. he sayssewhere we the trees snap, that is what he says is indicative of a tornado being he t. so he has the forecast for what is coming up later tonight in a few minutes. also a major tist julian assange case. today a grand jury returned a new indictment accusing the kileaks founder of violating the espionage act. it alleges that assange worked with chelsea manning to unlawfully obtain and disclose e classif documents. assange is fighting extradition from london on a lesser charge.

that is what we saw today. everybody seeing at least something. and they all came fro the storms to the west. these were the tornado storms yesterday in parts of missouri. look at this whole line. here is 7:00, 8:00, coming right through. and then whoosh right through the area earlier this what helped to create the stronger storms is the heat and humidity. look at the highs today, 91 leesburg, 88 norton, 89 in warrington. a very hot day across the io r a lot of humidity as well. so when the storms got into the very moist unstabletmosphere, were able to see the storms really develop. right now, very nice nigk. loot this, blue sky, temperature sitting at 73. winds out of the south at 9 miles an hour. andbo every on the nice side. we've gone back into the 80s where we've seen the sun come back out first. cooler?re we where we've seen the rain end. how about the next couple days?

weekend. satury a high of 80, it is warm, not humid. we have plenty of sunshine. a mix of clouds and sun. 92 sunday, second time this year that we have hit 90 degrees. 87 for a high on monday. chance for some scattered lalt day showers and thunderstorms on sunday but memorial day is looking dry. every day looking great if you are heading to the pl. s all risk with the 30% chance that you will deal with a shower or thunderstorm. if you are heading to the beachi doug is hea to ocean city tomorrow for the evening showers, it will be 79 at ou local beaches. plenty of sunshine. maybe an isolated shower on monday. 70 for a high saturday, 85 on sunday. water temperature only in the low to mid-6 s. so that is not comfortable. and overall our temperature trend, it is going up.
