in southeast. d.c. police y two men were shot. one has died. no arrests have been made. and that shooting is one -- on top of t 19 reported since friday night in the district. >> memorial day weekend was a violent one in d.c. you're looking at video from a shooting yesterday afternoon near the berry farm recreation center in northeast. four men and a boy were shot. all survived. now look at this map -- each of these markers represents a shooting over the weekend. one of the shootings claimed the life of somerset prep honor roll student 15-year-old maurice scott. no arrests have been made in his murder. new overnight, we've learned a d.c. man has died after being stabbed outside of his i home maryland. the st. mary's county sheriff's office says michael bathea was i involved a family dispute before he was stabbed. he died before he could be taken to the hospital. authorities are investigating. it does not appear anyone has been arrested. police in prince george's

websites and ymts. >> frustrating. >> reporter: a key component of the malware used by the cyber riminals was originally developed at the national security agency. that according to security experts briefed on the case. the "times" reports thensa lost control of the tool known as eternal blue in 2017 when an unidentified group calling itself the shadow brokers leaked it on line. the "times" says eternal blues y picked up b state-sponsored hackers in north korea and china. and in russia. the same hackers who targeted the presidential election in01 26 have reportedly used a cyber weapon to compromise hotel wye fee networks. nbc news has not verified the "times" reporting. the nsa and fbi declined to comment to the "times" and to nbc news. in the baltimore attack, the hackers demanded a payment in bitcoins worth about $100,000 for the code to unlock the system. a top baltimore official says the city will not pay the ran nsome. >> whe you talk to technology
