police are still on the scene trying to investigate what caused the van driver to veered on in coming traffic. a 59-yer-old man is charged with a rape of 12-year-old girl he pickedp during the storm in montgomery county. james booker of marlboro. the victims don't know each other. the victim told police he was walking hole from scho when booker pulled over and offered

maurice scott lost his life as he stood with a friend outside a convenient store near his home. a gunman who got out of the car seen on e upper right of the screen began shooting at his intendevictim as that man walked into the store. tl te the steen and his friend ran right into the path of the egunfire. thther victim including a woman and her nine-year-old daughter who were in a car near by, the mother was able to dri to a near by hospital. a 15-year-old were shot at the rec center a few miles away. all are expected to survive. >> police are still looking for suspects in almost all of these crimes. >> jackie, it feels there is more violence in the district this spring, itli seems we are reporting more frequently, what do the numbers say this year compares to the last? >> there were 64 murders in the

setting up along theame area, we have seen a line from around dallas through parts of oklahoma, through the north of stlouis and indiana and pennsylvania and ohio. that line has been the marker for the storms. it is also the storm of the warrer awa warmer air. look at the highs today. 89 in st. louis, 70 in chicago. in the 50s in the afternoon there. for us, 91 d.c. 62 in buffalo. that's the line there between the warm air to the south. much cooler air to thenorth. that's where we'll see a good chance of storm tomorrow. this is the chance tonight, enhanced risk of severe weather in p and arouts of missouri and kansas they have seen it. for us the enhanced risk is right around our region tomorrow, especially parts of maryland and west virginia. this is the area i am going to be watching tomorrow afternoon. that's where we are on weath alerts tomorrow. make sure you tune into see chuck djbell. it is all tomorrow ooerevening,0
