that date back to the 1980s. this is surveillance video of theuspect police say sexually assaulted tn women i the same mt. pleasant neighborhood over the course of just a few days last month. the attack happened on the same block just a few doors apart. police say 58-year-old lesterwi kerson broke into the homes on irving street through rear windows. according to police, yterday wilkerson broke into a third home on the same block and confronted a mother and her ughter. the women did not want to show their identity. >> he said don't scream and i screamed again. i just turned around, hoped that i wasn't going to be shot dead on the spot, unlocked the door, ran into the foyer and screamed even louder than i had before t.d screamed for my daughter to run ou run, run, get out, get out, get out. >> after the mother confronted the suspect and screamed, a neighbor cameth to ir assistance and chased the suspect through the alley. ghlice say wilkerson threw a

brick at the neir who chased him. that neighbor didn't give up the police eventually caught up to them and took the suspect into custody. >> you can imagine how courageous this guy was. first of all, the suspect indicated that he had a gun, but hthought it was moreimportant to protect his community. he continued to pursue him at a safe distance. >> reporter: this is not the first tim kill wwilkerson has b charged with attacking a woman. he did the same thing on the same exact block just a few doors away 12 years ago. he was just released from prison in late april. we can tell you in this most recent incident yesterday, nobody wasur inj. as for that case back in 2007, according to court documents, the suspect had broken into aan home was fleeing police when he came again through this very same alley. he found a nanny who was taking care ofen two young childr and he took her, put his arm around

her, started choking her and told police to back off, that he had a gun. he was arrested and pled guilty to the kidnapping. he had been just released then. that was 2007. he had just been released a month prior to thaincident for 1995 assault. this suspect has a long history of crime in this very alley. that's the very latest. back to you in the studio. >> mbe there's a longer sentence in his future this time. mark segraves. thank you, mark. more breaking news. a new twist in the investigation into the death of arince george's county couple in the dominican republic. nbc ne has confirmed that a pennsylvania woman died at thato same el under similar circumstances just five days earlier. the woman if n this latest case has be identified as 41-year-old miranda warner. she was from allentown, ia pennsylvan in a statement to nbc news, her brother-in-law says she collapsed on may 25th after having a drink from the mini bar at the hotel.

about this case last month. as scott macfarlane is reporting, the lfway house is facing some new legal trouble as well. >> known as k.k. to h friends, her grandfather says she was full of spirit. >> she was fun loving, outgoing. >> but one night she never ho returned . just after christmas day, seone shot her, stuffed her body in the trunk of her car and set the car on fire. a news 4 i-team investigation revealed one of the three men charged in the killing, marcell vines, had been hel held at hop on drug charges. he walked awa without horization hours before the killing. >> do you find it at all concerning that on of the men arrested for this escaped a halfway house that y? >> prosecutors charged vines with murder in local court last year, but days after the i-team first reported this case in may, the feds filed new murder charges against vines and the
