>> we end this hour with an emotional farewell to police officer. force, he was a lovednd highly respected officerith his fellow peers. he died last month in a motorcycle in brandywine tonight with more on his lasting legacy. >> reporter: the death of a young officer drew hundreds of people to a church in brandy wine. devon mckenzie had only been on the prince george's county's police force for two years but already made a big impact. errol walker was his father. >> outstanding, free. his mother raised a hell of a son. i got to give her all the credit. >> reporter: mckenzie was 24 years old.
