>> pat and jim, officials say this does not appear to be terrorism, but they've confirmed the pilot died after the crashed.er there are new photos from the fire department that shows some of the damage of the top of that uilding after the chopper crashed. it went down on the top of a building on seventh avenue, mid afternoon. the pilot had some sort of flying difficulty, but the nypd and the mayor say they don't know the cause of the crash. we can tell you the weather wasn't good. it's been raining an has i ncr and several nearby buildings here is how one of those people described the chopper crash. on the sixth fllt at binoor. tremof o it was a some sort. >> you're on the sixth floor and this is happening many, many floors up. >> we still felt a jolt. we looked out the window. we saw persons looking up. >> yoagain, the masays this does not appear to be an act of

terror. we're going to stay at the live desk with more updates as they come in. a montgomery county council member is questioning why he was pulled over by a maryland state trooper. >> he says the questions he was asked left him feeling like he was being raciallyf proed. >> reporter: cory has a look and a look at how it can be turned into a teaching ntmemo n la ndre state trooper was traumatic, but he wants to use as a teachable moment. the councilman was southbound on new hampshire avenue wher he w pulled over for crossing the anop line at mouth was this my car and i said yes and then he asked me do you have any outstanding warrants. >> reporter: it was at that moment that he felt like he was stopped for something a traffic violation.

>> the pretext of the stop, he's looking for other violations, you know, drugs, money, something. he thought i looked out of place. orter: maryland state police say this was not a preteua pretextl stop. he did not know the race of the driver and it was a standard line of questions during traffic stops. the agency said, quote, the maryland state police srictly forbids bias based policing in all aspects of activity. he says this was bad policing. >> people of color, immigrants are pulled over and detained and asked thesens questio at a much higher rate. >> reporter: his stop happened just a few blocks from the mcdonald's with a montgomery county police officer used the "n" word when speaking to a group of black men. >> it kes me sad b it also makes me determined that i'm on
