schools in .c. and maryland have suspended a private company in charge of operating after-school programs. >> this move comes after one of the companies' employees of charged with sexually abusingol 13-yeastudent inside one of the schools. >> now at 5:30, mark segraves reports on how this oneal incidt re a major problem that could impact schools across the country. >> reporter: the alleged sexual abuse occurred here inside the capital hill mont sor re school not far from union station. according to court documents, a 21-year-old emplee of bri springboard education had as many as ten encou13ers with a ear-old girl inside the school stairwell. the after-school employee was charged with second degree sexual abuse and was fired. but the investigation into the incident which was first reported by wame road that springboard was unable to inovide the required criminal background check rmation for many of its employees.
