popping uph earlier afternoon, including one in the district. those have since pushed off towas the east. one lone area of rainin out parts of rappahannock county, and here's a look at the bigger picture when we say a better chance to the south. ook at all the areas here in pink down around spotsylvania county and south of fred icksburg and continuing into parts of north carolina. we really think this activity will be concentrated south of this area today, so here's what you ca expect. about a 30% chance that you're dealing with a thunderstorm out there tonight, so that means it's really looking like most of us will main dry. however, see a few hit-and-miss thunderstorms stout there, and those storms that do develop could be strongto severe, and, again, that threat is much bigger down to our south so we're kind k escaping i thin the brunt of the severe weather today, and then big changes tomorrow as a cold front moves through overnight tonight. lee owen, somara and i will have much more on what to expct

in riviera beach florida clicked on mail and now the city is paying $630,000 for some information that the haer encrypted. the city is nearly paying nearly $1 million to repair and replace compromised computer equipment. some of the city also brought in dw i.t. director as well. baltimore alsoling with the effects of a ransomware hack. "the baltimore sun" saying it will cost the city more than $18 million. last month hackers took over part of the city's comp er system anddemanded $76,000 in bitcoin to ereleas it. the city has refused to pay, and it's led to all sorts of problems with things like tax payments and water bills as well. new at 4:00, a growing eward for a child's missing emotional support dog. a local donor saw our story and upped the reward to $2,500 now.
