gotten hurt and have experienced violence in ways they shouldn't just because they're lgbtq. >> reporter: orgz nianizers say next stepitis to polical the power of all the groups gathered here this evening. d.c. police are asking for the pull's health to solve an attack on a young gay couple last weekend. three people were initially arrested. the charges against them were later dropped. tonight we learned those were just two of the victims that night in a series of assaults and robberies in the "u" area early sunday. d.c. police say at least five crimes happened in that area within 75 minus. lice say the people seen in these photos are persons of interest in the crime spree, including the attack on that gay couple. let's turn now to the storm team 4 forecast. i hope you gde outsi today to enjoy this for a little bit.

on a plan to honor kamal. a terrifying attack near the harris teeter store in reston. fairfax county police say a woman was ambushed and raepped last week. police found her in a ditch without her phone. they're looking for a man who looks like this. they believe this suspect is in his 50s or 60s. he has wavy gray hair. it was a disturbing crime. a 16-year-old girl first missing, then found dead. >> in the last week herormer boyfriend, who was also a d teenager, pl guilty to her murder. tonight for the first time we're getting a look at his videotaped confession to police, a critical police of evidence. >> julie carey has the story you' only see on news 4. >> is that the choke hold that you used until she was unconscious?
