good morning, justin. >> reporter: good morning. as you might imaginof lots questions about the use of force in this case and what exactly ed happen we are now gaining bits and pieces of details from metro police, from witnesses, as well as two teens who were involved case.is you're looking at this video here. this happened close to 6:00 p.md on sa at the u street metro and it's shared quite a bit on social me the two teens at this point are already in custody. orlice are here at the u street station looking f reportedly teens who were threatening riders and that is when a man'r seeing there has already intervened as a number of metro transit police oicers are on hand. witnesses saying this guy was going i to help. eventually tensions rising and officers eventually get that man down and then taser him to subdue himefore he was taken into custody. those two teen boys were taken by officers but eventually

released. metro transit police say they were not charged and no victim but the two teen boys did speak to us. >> i ain't do nothing. i just got there. and just getting off the train. ad>> it m me like mad, but it happened all the time. >> reporter: metro transit police giving us a statement in this case reading here, in part. an adult male patron not original n the incident allegedly began inferri gnterfering with the police station investiion. and apparently fighting that officer. metro transit police saying that social media sharing and concern about this video is partly what prompted their investigation. back inside to you.

>> just finch, thank you. we are staying on top of another developing story in the district. one person is in custody and o d.icer is on leave following an officer-involved shooting. this all started when police respond to do a report of a suspicious car early sunday morning alone alabama avenue southeast in the cgress heights neighborhood. officers stopped a car that fit a description. during that traffic stop, d.c. police say one officer fired his gun. 48-year-old donald willis ran off but later turned up at the hospital. willis faces several charges. the officer is on administrative leave. rew this morning, we a traffic delays on i-95 on jor sunday. a pedestrian was hit and killed by atractor-trailer. this happened just before 2:30 in the afternoon near the rest area in howard county. police say it is still unclear why the man walked onto the tghway. oday, family and friends will pay their last respects ta

rince george's county woman iho died while on vacation in the domincan republic. the memorial service for cynthia day will be held at the first baptist church in upper marlboro this morning. he ander fiance both died whil on vacation last month. officials in the dominican republic say they died of respiratory failure. their families are questioning the findings. also today, former national security adviser michael flynn is expected back in court. thisirill be the f time for him in court since he replaced his legal team. he asking a judge to delay his sentencing once again. he pleaded guilty oft lying to he fbi as part of the russia investigation. in gecember a j delayed his sentcing to give him time with variations. tension between u.s. and iran continue to escalate. today, president trump could ns on the e sanct country. the u.s. is trying to cripple iran's economy to stop its

we don't normally associate coughing as a possible causea fr troke but that is what happened to a texas mother. 38-year-old jeanette church considered herself too hung and toolthy to have a stroke but several weeks ago she experienced several unusual symptoms. first, she suddenly lost sight in one eye. her left hand became numb. and she couldn't talk normally. she immediate called 911. >> the paramedics were asking so many questions and i was frustrated because i knew all of the answers and it seemed like it was taking me forever to get them out. >> the doctors say jeanette had a small tear in an artery in her neck. that allowed blood to pool and eventually cut off blood to her brain. jeanette says she suffered heavy coughing two weeks prior to the stroke and that may have caused the problem. >> good news for your wallet. the cost of filling your tank is dropping big time. a survey from a leading analyst says a price of a gallon of unleaded gas on average is 22

prince george's county into town and out of town, nothing in your way. a video circulating on social media of a man tasered by metro transit police is still parking outrage. >> this incidentwas recorded by a witness inside the u street metro station over the weekend. in finch is " ju live with details now on how this all unfolded. justin, good morning. ter: good morning. you know by now, maybe you've seen this video on twitter or instagram or facebook. it's getting a lot of eyes this morning and, right anw, metro trsit police say they are investigating. take a look at this vid here the u street metro at 6:00 p.m. on saturday. they are able to see a number of metro trsnsit police office called to the station to look for teens they say they had a report of them threatening riders here. two teen boys were taken into custody. you'll also see on your screen a man there intervening.

the national portrait gallery that happened after 8:00 last night in northwest. police say two people were fighting when one of them pulled out a gun and fired a round. the victim is expected to be okay. nearly 60 peoplere trying to figure out what to do after a fire damaged their apartment complex. pictures from the prince george's county fire department show the damage on livingston terrace. there was a partial roof collapse. three firefighters suffered minor injuries. no residents were hurt. it looks like you can sll ay with cash on metro buses for now. our news partners sa metro ended its cash-free program and was operating between silver spring and downtown the purpose of the program was to speed up service on board. metro h not said what impact the cash band had on service times. her is a look at other top

stories this morning. back in court. a similar request was in december andt that time the judge told flynn he wanted him to further cooperate with federal investigators. flynn has pled guilty with two charges that he lied to the fbi. y, a memorial service will be held for a prince george's county woman who died while on vacation in the dominican republic. cynthia day and her fiance nathaniel holmes were found dead in their hotel room. the authorities say ty died of respiratory failure. the family is questioning the results of the findings. investigators are trying to figure out what happened with this south philadelphia refinery. this happened friday morning in philadelphia. five people were hurt and remarkably, no one was killed. there are some concerns about air quality in the area now, but over the weekend, t ating was do at this point, everything appears to be safe. ja as fields jr. is asking judge for mercy. he is the man convicted of l
