>> oh, yeah. absolutely. a very very scary situation for the people who work here, the three suspects very menacing at times, aiming their weapons point blank atc mnald's workers. this happened yesterday morning around 5:30 in the morning. and itghwas all cau on videotape. >> a terrifying situation forth employees inside this mcdonald's on south dakota avenue in northeast. three suspects allh armed wit handguns rush in. a customer standingat the counter is knocked in the head with a gun and falls to the ground. the employees are ordered to gec theash from what appears to be safe in the back and then froma the csh registers. all the oile, onef the suspects points a gun directly at the frightenedployees. he robbery was caught on surveillance cameras, investigators hope someone will recognize the suspects and give them a call.

developing this morning, there is news of a third summit between the united states and north korea. that's in the works, that's according to a response from the south korean president to uestions by the associated press, and six other news e agen the last time president trump and kim jong-un met was four in months ago vietnam. they've been trying to come to an agreement about north korea's expanding nuclear program, but so far have failed to do so. the two countries first met jusy over twoars ago in singapore. the white house tells nbc news that it has no comment on this

wilder news 4. >> virginia h f theifth most complaints in the country. d.c. was 39th. several d.c.er councilmemb believe it's time to slap some rules on the electric scooters that are zipping around the district. they're proposing requirehents, say it would make the road safer for everybody. rules like no scooters between 10:00 at night and 4:00 in the morning. establishing a hotline for illegal paking. cutting the sidewalk speed limit to 6 miles an hour. requiring payment to cover property damage. the bill's sponsor says the oposals will be discussed fall. me this new this morning, maryland is considered the safest and least expensivete state for drivers. that's according to a new report from the personal finance website wallet hub.e thmpany looked at several key metrics, including the average cost of car repairs across the country.

well, a nearly 80-year-old harvard study says, if so, you should focus on one thing. here to talk about this one thing is joshua winer, thanks for being here. what is this one thing. we want to know more about the study. >> when you askes this quon to millennials and ey've done surveys of this. a lot of millennials will say, the key to a happy fulfilling life is wealth. about 50% of them will say that it's fame. and then some percentageill say it's about hard wk. well, this 80-year-old study is adult the harvard development study, has shownat th the one key factor, really, oiif you want t it down to one thing, it's about relationships. quality of relationships, relationships with family, relationships with friends, relationships with people in your community. that's really t one factor when you follow the people, they followed them from the time that they were 18 years old, up

until they died,an and then of them have died. there's only a few that are still alive. they found that that was the one variable thatas the most important factor in determining how they ewed their li quality. >> i think thath makes so muc sense. >> it does. >> can you talk about the quality of these relationships? we're talking about friendships, marriagour family, all sorts of relationships, right? >> right. >> it's not just the quantity, it's really about tit qualy, it's really about ming sure that you feeldylike somebo out there has ybaur ck. even though you may quarrel at times, you mayave issues in your marriage or wit your friendships. if you feel like that person has your best interests at heart, they care about you, they share in your jo they get upset when you're upset. that's the kind of relationship lhey're looking at. loneliness is a r problem. so they found -- a survey found that one in five u.s. adults says that they're lonely. and loneness kills.
