loop of the beltway.nd the nortide side of the as you're able to go and you have to exit here. this was a deadly pedestrian and run and happened right around midnight. not a lot of information about exactly what happened. we don't know, for example, why that pedestrian was down there on the bw parkway. also no information, no make or model on the vehicle that struck the pedestrian but, obviously, anyone who happened to be in the area and perhaps saw something uspicious, you're asked to contactvariationsinvestigators. we don't have a firm idea how long this will be closed. i'm told there is a rath large debris field down there on the parkway itself, so thereis some cleanup involve as well as some accident documentation, reconstruction that has to be completed before th can open these lanes. right now, ere, the bottom line for commuters, southbound lanes of the bw paway closed. we are in the area of green belt. you'll be
