it is just coming down in sheets out there, so, again, if folks are driving right now, the roads are going tbe a mess where rain has developed, and let's show you that flood warning on storm team 4 radar. you can see it right here, this area in green, and i've looped the radar over the last two hours so you can see once the stin developed ju after 4:00 p.m. it really hasn't changed the locations that it's continuing to imkt a. the city of fairfax is getting pounded right now. i'm tracking three severe thunderstorm warnings across the area. the first in effect until 6:15. this is for parts of prince william county, the city of manassas and parts of the county of fairfax and the city of fair tax as well. this severe thunderstorm warning ineffect until 6:15. i'm not timing them out because right now they are not ving so it's going to continue to rain in these same locations potentially over the next hour, maybe even twoleading to more flooding concerns. also a severe thunderstorm warning in effect for jefferson and clark counties and parts of loudoun county until 6:15. this does include the bluem ho

nt area andot leesburg n in the severe thunderstorm area right now. parts of more eastern loudoun county are under sever thunderstorm warning until 6:00 p.m. this includes gaithersburg and you're sing some rain right now along 270. thankfully there nothing too heavy. we're going to continue to see rain and storms out there until about 8:00, 9:00 tonight. they fizzle out after that because the sun goes down, so what's happening. we have a mid-level disturbance moving through the area right now. that in addition to the heat really helps these thunderstorms to blossom. based on all the factors out there, they are certainly orperforming by whatur computer models are showing yesterday. see continue to thunderstorms out there until 8:00, 9:00 p.m. tonight. we'll lose the fuel and daytime heting. it's still warm at 11:00 p.m. 82 degrees at that point after our high temperature today of9 with this hot air mass, not only are we seeing thunderstorms
