waiting to apply for asylum. weadn't had pictures of how bad the backlog was on this side of the border. this morning, newly released images are offering the clearest picture yet of what the government watchdog describes as dangerous overcrowding in migrant detention facilities. the department from the office of inspector general received one senior manager called the situation a timing time bomb. investigators toured several stations in texas's rio grande mali last month. in this photo, inspectors say 82 men were in a cell with the capacity of 41. one migrant held up a sign with the word "help," writing he' been in custody 40 days. the report says these facilities, children had limited ak seg access to clothes, and some didn't provide many meals. they believe it presents ane immediat risk to dhs officers
