we have learned a deadly shooting inside the pentagon city mall parking garage was an act of self-defense.li arngton county police says the man who was shot and killed was trying to rob another man. the suspect pulled out a gun to try to steal the cell phone. the victim fought back and during the struggle, the gun went off and hit the suspect. he died at the hospital and his name has not been released. family and friends are p paying their final respects to a police detective who spent his dying day trying to get funding fohis colleague in response to 9/11. >> you made me come down here the day before my 69th round of chemo. >> lewis alvarez testified before congress. people gathered outside of the church for his funeral. alvarez fought to replenish the

well, there is a brand new controversy voinvolving nike an the american cflag. thempany put the flag on the back of its new air max shoes but they were quickly recalled amid a major h.backlas stephanie gauss has the details of what's going on. pull back these red, white and blue shoes is whipping up more controversy. the governor of arizona threatened to pull incentive for the nike pln. calling ke's recall a shaming retreat, adding words can't express my disappointment at this terrible decision. aording to the wall street journal, colin kaepernick spear headed the call to get nike to
