some strong to severe thunderstorms on thursday. that t something i'm goingo be tracking for you very, very closely and thursday could be a weather alert day as a result. and we're also tracking what's happening right now in the trops. this is a storm that believe it or not came across the middle part of the country, down through the atlanta area, and now exid into the gulf of mexico. watch what happens here. this is one computer model. taking this off the panhandle of flida. creating a very strong tropical storm or hurricane. look, this would be an eye right here. some computer models have this going up to a category 2 or 3 hurricane. others kep it more of a tropical storm. 90% chance from the national hurricane cenr to become barry by tomorrow afternoon. we're going to be tracking that very closely. it is the second storm so far this season. the first didn't do much but it did bring some rain to the south. now, high temperatures down to our south. much warmer. look, jackson, mississippi nears 100 degre. 96 in nashville. that's the kind of heat we've ot moving our way over the next couple of days. back into the 90s.
