kylie during a search operation, she had to have three surgeries. kylie had to be air-lifted to that hospital because her injuries were so severe. she has a cast on her righ front leg. news4 profiled kylie last year because she played a major role in finding the remains of three people buried behind an apartment complex and she helped search for a missing girl. four yearsto ago ay an apartment security guard gunned down on the job in capital heights, our prince george's county bureau followed closely when it first happened. prince george's bureau chief tracee wilkins takes another look at this baffling case. >> i rememb standing in the parking lot and covering the murder of adrian canard, a man who was a security guard hoping to become a prince george's county police officer. four years later his murder is still unsolved. >> missing my son, not over yet.

>> we met cynthia kinard in a parking lot where her son was shot and killed in 2015. >> he has a little girl she just turned five. she said my daddy, you know. >> adrian was working security complex in capital heights when police say shots were fired from a passingcar. killing adrian and wounding his partner, who survived. the gun man's vehicle was recovered soon after but still four years later, no arrests in the case. >> we've done an extensive amount of research with the evidence that we gathered so far in the case. our investigators are traveling out of state. they've gone as far as doing as many canvass and interviews as they can do. >> police know they're looking for akiller. they have the vehicle the gunwan in. they have people who are cooperating. but they are still missing. important pieces. >> having a killer essentially out on the loose doesn't rest well with usnd we're not going to rest until we find the killer

0 years, girls are joininge cah the boy scouts of america's decision to admit girls into its flagship program sparkedro contrsy nationwide last year but according to the director at this white ford maryland camp so far, so good. this week-long camp runs all summer and each week so far has had a few troops of girls taking part in everything from riflery to water sports. the boys and girls have separaty daitrher for ly activities. girl camper say the scouts offer different experiences than the girl scout camps.oy >> b scout camp you get a lot of freedom and you don't have to be confined in one place. there's also a lot ofifferent ke can do he at yououn't d inti acesviti gioy scout camp. >> the camp plans to raise money todate their facilities for future programs to accommodate even morem capers. a new cis park coming to manassas near the downtown area.

democratic controlled house. still, this resolution has been tabled. more than 80 members of the house have been calling for ening an impeachment inquiry, while others have resisted, fearing it could rally the president's ba or quite possibly see it fail in the senate so a developing story right now and we'll have more on this a little bit later. wendy and leon, back to you. a babyirl is dead after being left in a hot car in virginia. police in richmond say someone called 911around 2:00 yesterday afternoon because they saw a child alone in a car. the 10-month-old girl was rescued but oh the way to the hospital neighbors say the adult left the baby in the car while theywent grocery shopping. no charges have been filed, but police are investigating. last year 52 children died in the u. after being left in hot cars. and it is a tragedy that can be prevented. >> a bill called the hot car's
