pleasant with 3 highs near 50. 3 3 mark tight a fire late last night at a home in gretna left a woman dead. it happened on henry street just after 11 last night. katie yeatts lived alone...and was not able to make it out. she was 73. abc 13 just checked in with the fire marshal's office.. they have not yet determined the cause. gretna fire crews say.. it started in the front corner of her home.. neighbors told us that is where her kitchen is. arson or foul play is not suspected. 3 noreen tight a rare compromise on gun legislation in virginia today. democratic governor terry mcauliffe and republican house speaker william howell held a press conference in richmond outlining the deal. their proposal control measures while

including clinique and mac come in. failed to make accreditation status. danville superintendent dr. stanley jones addressed the issue at woodbury elementary during his state of the school division address. tola adamson has more on his plans to fix this issue. tola? >> reporter: noreen, for four consecutive years, when berry hill failed to meet student expectation in english, math, science and history. booker jones says the problem lies within the school division for not using the same instructional framework across all schools. he said they were anticipating this even before the state denied the school accreditationdenied the school accreditation, so starting at the beginning of this year, all elementary and middle schools are using the same instruction at framework called learning focus. and next year, the high school will join in. dr. joan says this -- dr. jones sthais will make a big difference. >> the state will step in and give us additional resource so

ad on craigslist listed as cute and charming, three bedrooms, all the amenities and ready to move in now, all for $600 a month. >> they take your words from your -- >> looks like they did. >> looks to me like they did. >> wow, yep. >> reporter: it is available all right, but not for rent. it is for sale. through daniel's own property listing that appears to have been lifted by someone else to an effort to receive. >> they will get an e-mail back with them for instructions on what they will need to do. or they will get a phone call or a text message from an international number. >> reporter: another woman who contacted daniel did fall for it. she wired $600 after the people claiming to be missionaryclaiming to be missionaries in nigeria told her they would fed ex her the keys. she sent them the money and out of a place to live. >> heartbreaking right now. $600 for her is quite a bit of

it will cause any huge flight delays. we will be watching the west coast for the next few days because right now, this area rain which is moving into california, that is going to be part of the next weather system that heads our way. by monday, a few showers are possible, increasing rain for all of us by tuesday, and especially for wednesday. when you wake up in the morning for your saturday morning, it will be below freezewill be below freezing with temperatures in the 20s. we will have clear skies. and tomorrow, we will see a lot of sunshine, a few high clouds are possible and highs will be reaching the lower 50s. jawching ahead to your -- jumping ahead for your sunday. the temps forming into the 60s. so we will be finishing up up january with very mild conditions. no travel issues for you on sunday. tonight, we are going to see a freeze with temps in the 20s by morning, but as we mentioned, this will be the last freeze that we are going to see for a while. bedford, 23. amherst, 22. appomattox, 25. and the hourly weather for tomorrow show we are on our way after 9 a.m., we will see that ice melting.
