shot by a centra security guard.marissa para is outside lynchburg general with what he told us new today. >> reporter: right now i have the documents that jonathan warner's attorney got from centra. the lawyer reviewed those medical records that were from the day of the shooting. and those records indicate that jonathan warner indicated that he had a gunshot wound to his back. he says that he saw a timeline video that showed events that he calls concerning. we have not received a response to our request to see the video. the police hasn't yet released an official report that

>> more on the allegations that the friend of nicole lovell's went to school officials weeks before her disappearance. nicole's friend, cary cook, told us that she went to the school resource officer at blacksburg middle school in early january after she found out about a man that nicole was dating that was over 18. the school district says they can't comment on individual cases, but they said a complaint like that would not have been overlooked. >> when something like that is presented to an officer, they would have a conversation with school staff, the student, the student who presented it to them. there are a lot of people involved. >> danner: we do want to point out that cary cook says that the man in the picture was not

after police arrested israel cunningham after shoplifting. a chase ended in roanoke where police found his car abandoned on west side boulevard. after another foot pursuit, police arrested cunningham and charged him with grand larceny and felony eluding. bedford school officials met last night with an architectural team designing the middle school. it was not enough to get them the money set aside for the project. they're hoping the board of supervisors approves the new range of just under $46 million. >> this school is the last 50-plus year. and we've got the chance to
