of days. 36 right now lynchburg. 41 farmville. 45 45 charlottesville -- martinsville. we've got one area of low pressure down here on the carolina coast from bloomington to myrtle beach. the sunshine state getting inundated with rain this afternoon. and a clipper system up north in montana, the dakotas, and minnesota. this is going to be our main player in the forecast over the next couple of days. we have that big area of low pressure down toward the carolina coastline and that big clipper system in the north. this one looks like it's going to stay safely offshore, and it will maybe bring us some cloud cover. it's going to be that clipper system that is doing the majority of that week.

it's going to unleash some flurries and cold air across the vicinity. and probably the coldest air we've seen so far this weekend. just seeing clear skies this evening. we'll see more clouds in the overnight hours tonight. more clouds tomorrow afternoon will be along and east of the parkway. and west of interstate 77, we may see mostly sunny skies for a good chunk of the afternoon. clear skies very briefly on sunday and monday, we'll see the clouds increase in the morning and the rain starting but finishing up as snow showers on monday afternoon. the window for this precip will be 12:00-5:00 p.m. two inches could be possible in the mountains. slick spots are possible on the roads.
