commute. 3 3 mona tight new this morning.... the mother of the pulaski county boy who died in a septic tank...is scheduled to be in court today on abuse and neglect charges. online court records show 31-year-old ashley white's jury trial is scheduled to take up to five days. white and 32-year-old paul thomas are accused of leaving their 5-year-old son, noah thomas, and infant daughter, abigail, home alone on march 22 of last year. noah's body was found in a septic tank near the family's home in dublin four days later. the medical examiner determined that the boy drowned and that

3 this morning we have an update on the search for a missing 3-year-old girl in fluvanna county. according to virginia state police.. the amber alert for haven moses was cancelled shortly after 6 p.m last night investigators say she was found safe and the child is now in the custody of authorities. the fluvanna sheriff's office had been searching for the todler - saying she may have been in extreme danger. she was allegedly abducted by her father.. 25-year-old james arnold moses the third. at last check, thre is no word yet on any pending charges for moses. 3 3 pattie a family member of a nelson county teenager who disappeared says she's ready to lend a helping hand to nicole lovell's family, when and if they are ready. alexis murphy's aunt, trina murphy, has made it her

dealing with missing persons cases at any stage. mona to get it done, murphy says she's created a new foundation called the aware foundation. aware is an acronym for always watch and recognize your environment. courtney wheaton reports. 3 trina murphy knows the pain of not knowing. trina murphy " my neice was in the most rural place possible in broad daylight and she was abducted." :5 in august of 2013 her neice alexis murphy disappeared. randy taylor, her abductor, is currently serving two life sentences for abducting and murdering the 17- year-old. but murphy's body was never found. "it can happen to anyone." :3 she created the aware foundation in her honor much like how "save the next girl" honors abduction victim morgan harrington. murphy says a key goal of the aware foundation is to help all families affected by a loved one's disappearance. " if it's someone local then we really want to be able to just go to that family and say look we understand what you're going through and here's some things you might want to think about." :10 another goal,

3 mona tight a former bedford police officer will be arraigned in today..in bedford county. the officer has been indicted on six felony counts of possession of child pornography. investigators say 54-year-old brian mcalexander was taken into custody friday in henry county. mcalexander became the target of a child exploitation case in april of 20-15 - led by an investigator with the southern virginia internet crimes against children task force. 3 pattie box a danville man is behind bars after police say he tried to get officers to shoot him. police say they got a call just after 5:30 yesterday morning from someone claming they saw a person quote, "dragging a body through the woods" near the 100 block of barrett street. investigators say it was a trick to lure them to that area - where they found a 25-year-old man standing in the woods with a gun. according to police, the man was mentally unstable - and
