blaze started yesterday in the jefferson woods subdivision. neighbors heard what sound like a large explosion. the home was gone in minutes. based on their investigation. firefighters say the fire began on the porch of the home and spread instead. the two adults and dog made it out. the house and two cars are a total loss. neighboring homes sustained minor damage. the cause of the fire is under investigation. >> patti: a hot chimney sparked a fire in roanoke county on the 3700 block buck mountain road yesterday morning. crews found flames coming from the roof of the home. house was vacant. work was being done on the inside and the wood stove of used to heat it during the day. >> mona: search for answer after that crane collapse in new york city.
