3 danner tight 3 as the recovery effort begins, questions begin to swirl about the process. volunteers from all over were helping one appomattox homeowner remove debris from her home.pause for nats of chainsaw rhita reebals lives off cub creek road, another area, hit hard by the storm. reebals says she has been on the phone non-stop with her insurance company and other providers trying to figure out the right steps to take. she says her insurance company said they would cover the costs of any trees that need to be cut down. but as for the stubs.. that might be on her tab.rhita reebals - "that's the big problem because insurance doesn't cover removal of the stumps. so that is going to be the most expensive part, getting the stumps removed and taken off the property."danner tight reebals says she was also confused about what to do with all the debris.

3 danner tight so we want to set the record straight on that. here's what officials want you to do. county officials say they don't want you to take it to trash collection or convenience centers. natural debris may be hauled to the appomattox county landfill. they are extending their hours right now. the national guard and regional hazmat personnel will be on-site to separate hazardous materials. they also say to make sure when you are moving the debris that it's secure in your car so it doesn't go flying onto the highway. 3 mark tight they may have joined the emergency response group thinking they'd help with disaster relief all over the world. but right now.. a group of students from liberty university are getting the chance to help those in their own backyard. katie brooke is live in appomattox county after meeting up with them. katie liveu mark, 23 students spent the day here helping wherever needed -- loading belongings in uhauls, tacking tarps on roofs, and just being there for those
