roanoke police are asking for your help finding a missing man. police say 26- year-old jonathan kent was reported missing monday by co-workers .... but has not been heard from since last wednesday. he drives a 20-15 honda c-r-v ... with the license plate number v- e-c- 7-7-1-7. if you have any information call police. # we're continuing to follow a developing story out of chespeake... six people are dead in an apparent murder-suicide after a lengthy armed standoff with police. police say the barricade situation unfolded after home. the swat team was called out to assist, as police say they attempted to negotiate with the suspect for several hours. when the standoff ended late last night.. officers found another five bodies, including the suspect inside the home. all six people are related. an invstigation continues this afternoon. # a man wanted in connection with a recent homicide and abduction in

u-s marshals in massachusetts. police say he is in critical condition... after shooting himself when officers tried to make the arrest. police say over the weekend.. "dana william" held his former in-laws... and several others hostage. after he eventually left law.. up... and unresponsive. he was pronounced dead at the scene. the investigation is now focused on finding his mother-in-law. family remains hopeful. plan was to kill my then kill himself" several rewards have been offered for information. # ferguson, missouri police department. the justice department reached a tentative agreement with the city. the proposed deal requires more officer training... and reforming the city's use of force procedures. it will also patrol officers... supervisors... and jail workers to wear body

the move comes more than a year after a ferguson police officer fatally shot teenager michael brown.### some virginia lawmakers are hoping to undo the attorney general's decision to revoke the state's concealed handgun permit agreements with other states around the nation. democratic attorney general--- mark herring--- announced last month virginia will no longer recognize the concealed handgun permits of 25 states. but now.. a handful of lawmakers have introduced bills aimed at overriding the decision. one bill would recognize the permits from all states.. as long as the person is at least 21- years-old. # it's all the buzz in politics..: tonight's republican debate without donald trump. will being a no- show help or hurt him in iowa? tracie potts has that - plus new poll numbers - from washington. # just released this morning: our nbc-marist polls show donald trump flipping the script in iowa - now up by 7 over ted cruz... who was leading there earlier this month.

your thoughts starting at six at the vinton war memorial. the virginia lottery hands over a $1 million check today in salem. the winner matched five numbers in the historic $1.5 billion powerball lottery drawing earlier this month. today marks a tragic day in american history.. it's been thirty years since the challenger space shuttle exploded. crew died on the morning of january 28, 1986... when a booster engine failed... causing the shuttle challenger to break apart... just 73 seconds after launch. nasa is remembering all it's fallen crew members today.. at arlington national cemetary. #
