12:11 pm
is ice and the green is plain old rain. mainly ice through lynchburg heading north into covington and along i.64. we're seeing snow fall but that line will continue to the north and we'll see that ice mixing into the highlands as well. we're seeing a break around 3 to 4:00 and there will be isolated spots and of course the snow but there's a big lull in the activity and a lot of dry air out there. it will quickly fill in as we head into the evening and unfortunately a lot of cold air. we're going to see everything change over to rain showers and then the rain will be heavy at times. especially tomorrow, we get a huge push of moisture that will

12:15 pm
>> i need nice weather to get out and maybe go for run. >> or go help out with building that snow mound [ laughter ] >> well the snow is starting to wind down but the ice is forming and becoming a factor and that will make the commute tricker. >> we have our traffic cam hereand the conditions update. >> reporter: we're getting on to 585 south right now, we're not seeing much in the way of pavement. the v. dot crews have been taking care of the roads here. things are slushy as well and
